Virgin Aparitions

does anyone know about virgin mary aparaitions, believe in them, and its
implications? i asked because i am going this weekend to a spiritual retreat to
a place where a woman claims that she speaks with the virgin ,etc.., and i am
curious

i dont like the fact that she says that the virgin is sad about our behaviors,
i dont agree with that, i think they say it in a way for us to change our
behavior.. but i dont think its the truth.. not sure... about that...

pi: the virgin's sadness may be difficult to accept as valid and agree
with -- the choice is yours, of course. from what i gather, however,
numerous persons in all walks of life and locations reported visions /
sightings / apparitions of mary, and they consistently portray her with
a sad countenance and a need for love & repentance to avert humankind's
self-destruction. you may find information in a book by ingo swann, the
great apparitions of mary: an examination of 22 supernormal appearances
(pub 1996).
