View Full Version : On Building The Mentanet Part B

Guided hypnosis seems to be one good solution. The subject is advised
to initially relax the body which makes it much easier for the mind to
drift towards sleep. Without vocal interference sleep would quite
likely be the end result. But when consciousness arrives reaches the
portal of the alpha/theta zone, the vocal interaction of the guide
helps the subject to remain "locked in", thus facilitating
conscious/subconscious/super-conscious communication. The problem is
one cannot have the guide on hand at all times.

ENTER GUIDED BINAURAL BEAT SESSIONS.
Binaural beats can quickly assist the brain/mind mechanism to lock to
a wide variety of target state. Some (usually those not in the know)
argue that it can become an unnecessary crutch because the mind can
attain the same states without such external paraphernalia. This is
certainly true. It is also quite true that if we attempted to walk
from new LA to New York, we could certainly do it. But at what cost?
Ok, if you believe the journey is necessary for your development then
go to it. Others would prefer to get there ASAP and begin the work
that they have in mind. Similarly, binaural beats can transport
consciousness, in minutes, to the ideal mind-awake/body-sleep zone and
lock you there. It is therefore in my view an optimal tool for rapid,
reliable and repeatable exploration of intuitive processes.

It may also come as a surprise to the non/low-tech practitioner that
many who use this and similar brain technologies, very quickly (in
days or a few weeks at most) get to a point where they can
automatically zone in without the use of such "external
paraphernalia". This is due to the feedback effect. If you use some
kind of technology to monitor/feel a subtle process or state in the
body or brain regularly, for sustained time periods, you will quickly
become capable of recalling or reproducing this same state without the
use of the enabling technology. This is a proven scientific fact.

So coupled with tried and proven low tech method like hypnosis, I
believe this would be a perfect basis upon which the Mentanet could be
rapidly developed.

THE MENTANET TEST
So here is the startup Mentanet scenario that I put forward for
discussion and experimentation.
We choose a few target brain states. Record the binaural beats
supported by the right kind music and guided vocal scripts(this is
where you come in Howard) that target the chosen brain states. We
determine what the minimum number of participants should be. We think
up some testable activities for this period. Spoon-bending (on web
cam), world peace, rain in the Sahara etc. We set up an internet
broadcast (on Pal Talk for example). It is free. We choose dates and
specific times when we all log in, simultaneously get zoned to the
right altered state, and then put the predetermined test activities
through their paces.

I think in addition to the discussions we carry out here in this forum
we should now begin to carry out specific activities? Hope this does
not violate the guidelines.

I'd love to have a go at this. I'm not sure how you can accomplish this by
computer with folks in different time zones but hey, if we can do it, we should!
The concept is greatly appealing to me.

One thing to keep in mind at all times when doing this is the objective of
Free Will. It can never intrude on the Free Will of others. That may make some
of the things we desire to change a bit tricky. Wording of objectives will need
much thought and to keep this in mind.

That said, let's go for it.
L/L,
Valarie

Hello,
I found this idea very interesting.

What about a wifi enabled headset / pda shaped device. It would generate the
binaural audio and perhaps some guiding voice tracks. The purpose of the
network would be to connect and communicate with other people online at the
same time. With a small keyboard you could type/read collective intentions.

The device could be made with a micro controller pretty cheap. I will have
to investigate the network connection aspect though.

Jon

As moderator, I have to say that the idea is very interesting, however, it
is not something that this group should do within this forum. It is best
pursued privately by contacting Donnell I think. Chris

Hi

I just read the The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce and His Soul Group?

It got me thinking about my relationships, possible past life and life
lessons. Does anybody know how to identify past incarnates? Such as
registries of family trees and patterns to identify matches?

Thanks
Jon

1.Physical similarity. 2.Various traits;habits of speech & thought
manifested in writings, attire preferences. 3.Choice of habitat.
4.Occupation. 6.Family,spouses, & friends. 7. Sometimes the name
also displays the same-sounding cadence. -maybe this will help-
