I have decided to respond to your feedback on the Mentanet concept in
the following two posts. Please be sure to read my suggestions on the
Mentanet start-up scenario at the end of the scond post ? On Building
the Mentanet (B).
WANDERS, SEEKERS AND TEACH/LEARNERS
I greet you in the light and love of the One Infinite Creator. I am
Donnell. (grin) I hope Ra does not have a copyright on that greeting.
It is so cool I think I will use from now on.
It's a drab, rainy morning here in Austria. So I have closed the
windows and refocused my consciousness on the inner light for
inspiration.
Some of you might notice that I have appended the heading of this post
with the word Accessing. Some of you have written that there is no
need to build the Mentanet because it already exists. We only need to
develop our capabilities to access it. I agree, to an extent. So,
fully aware that many of you are Teach/Learners, I plunge bravely into
this with expectations of getting slapped on the wrists for
misconceptions.
So here is my take. Living entities ? trees, ants, goats, cows you and
I - all have varying degrees of awareness which we have classically
categorised into a hierarchy of consciousness ? the unit (conscious
and subconscious layers of the mind) and the cosmic (Super Conscious
layers). Beyond these levels there exists the soul or pure original
consciousness. This is a massively simplified breakdown of the anatomy
of consciousness but it should suffice for this discussion. Now, in my
view, what already exists is a Super Conscious (or unconscious)
Mentanet. Currently it is accessed consciously only by a few
individuals who have learned how to lower the veil between the unit
and cosmic layers of the mind. However a substantial conscious
collective mind does not yet exist. And this is what needs to be built
or assembled. My guess is that, a huge conscious merger would then
facilitate much easier access to the super conscious Mentanet. If I am
not making sense here I will try to clear this up later.
LOGGING ON TO THE MENTANET
I think Howard and I agree that an effective approach to facilitating
this merger of unit consciousnesses ? the Mentanet - is to alter the
state of consious awareness. This altered state might not be necessary
for broadcasting collective will and intention for say, healing
purposes or spreading a vibration of peace. But if we intend to
communicate and access knowledge in a way that is somewhat analogous
to the internet we need to collectively alter our awareness.
SEARCHING FOR THE ZONE
Now somewhere on the spectrum between sleep and being awake lies the
ideal altered state for intuitive activities. So obviously we need to
find this zone and stay tuned or locked in, long enough to allow
"higher dimensional consciousness" to kick in. In sleep, the body and
conscious mind become still enough to facilitate this process, and I
suspect that all of us carry out intuitive activities all the time in
this state. But there is hardly any conscious interaction, direction
or memory of such processes. In meditation, we spend a long time
(years) trying to master this ideal body-sleep/mind-awake balance in
order to access higher (purer, deeper, steadier) connectedness with
Self. Alas, the leg and back pains that come packaged with this
approach is, for many, too great of a test in patience and steadfastness.
