claim is that this doubling sequence is seen in all life processes and

Another sequence uses Clifford Periodicity, equivalent to a sequence
1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256=1 with periodicity 8 instead of Marko
Rudin's periodicity 7.
