dear group,
thanks for the good wishes about my current situation. i had a dream this
morning that literally said i have to focus more on my own needs and i am
letting the film become too overpowering to other very necessary aspects of my
life - surprise, surprise. thankfully i do not feel as close to "the edge" as i
have in many other such cycles of this nature.
i do have to hit a meeting with our editor at 2:30, but i have a little gap here
where i can take care of the most critical things, namely compiling receipts so
i can have a record of expenditures that need to be paid back - as i've been
going through money at a terrifying pace in the process of trying to move in,
still having a rental car, et cetera.
i did start reading the book and must say that even though some of the
information is new and unique, i cringe at the way in which it was written -
very reminiscent of the earliest versions of convergence before i was torn to
shreds by a letter from richard leviton discussing possible publication of the
manuscript. it turned out that he was right, but at the time it was a
devastating blow to the ego. now i see how valuable the advice really was.
anyway, the bit about walking in on people making love was a joke, not an
attack... it's my standard line when people ask when it's going to be done, and
always gets a laugh!
peace be with you -
