hello group,

i hope everything is well with everyone :)
i don't know if i have already posted this but this lesson of confidence
keeps coming up for me and so i figured i would post it in case anyone else
is dealing with this issue...i also keep noticing in the recent q'uo
transcripts how they keep bringing up the importance of self-confidence and
faith so here it is...

How confident are you in your ability to create your own reality? How much
do you confide in yourself to manifest your own dreams? Your confidence is
a reflection of your certainty of who you really are. Certainty is the step
beyond belief, the step beyond the mind where you fall faithfully into the
silent mystery of the heart. To be certain is to never forget who you
really are, to be in a constant state of remembering oneness. What are you
certain of? Whatever you are sure of, you will also be confident of.

If you are absolutely certain that you are one with the source, that is the
infinite potential of limitless possibility than that means that it is
possible for you to accomplish anything that is conceivable with your
imagination. If you have faith beyond any doubt that you are God also than
that means that you can do anything that God can do. A Creator that is full
of confidence can never fail but only learns further ways to become more
successful. You can endure anything to completion, if it is endured in the
certainty of the rightness of your actions. You can achieve whatever it is
that you put the attention of your mind to. Any dream is but a focused
thought away and a faithful first step of action from being lived.

Be confident of how worthy you truly are, be certain of your worth. A lack
of confidence will show up as a lack of self-esteem or the feeling of
unworthiness. When your assurance of self is feeling a little low then it
is time to respect and rely solely on your self by taking care of yourself
and leaving everyone else alone. Only you can choose to find your own
worth, only you can feel the worthiness of yourself for that feeling can
only arise from within.

One sure way to lose your confidence and to bring down the level of your
self-esteem is by trying to control other selves for in that task you will
always fail. It is the feeling of failure that truly brings your vibration
plummeting to its depths. You cannot control another being no matter how
hard you try. Another being can choose to be controlled by giving away
their own power but that is a result of their own choice and not of your
making.
The source of any problem that ever arises between individuals is some
attempt by some being to gain power through the use of control. The freedom
of will of awareness triumphs over any attempt to control. When you finally
give up control you have finally won the battle as any problem finally
disappears. Laying down the sword of control can solve any problem, most
importantly the problem of failing. You may think that something is wrong
with you and that you are a failure by losing control but the only problem
to begin with is the use of control. There is another higher way and it is
the deep trust and faith of allowing what is to be as it is. The feeling of
failure that is the result of control is certainly not the feeling of
confidence that only acceptance can bring, acceptance breeds confidence.

Another sure way to lose your confidence is by trying to live another
individual?s dreams. You cannot live another person?s dreams for them for
they are quite simply not your dreams to live. It is only in the
fulfillment of your own dreams that the feeling of confidence is a success.
You are bound to failure when you cut your own dreams short and attempt to
live beyond your true desires of which places you at the short end of the
stick. Live your own dreams, set your own goals, fulfill your own desires,
and just watch as your confidence skyrockets right out of this world.
Confidence comes to those who turn the impossible into the possible by
facing their fears of the unknown.

One other sure way to lose your confidence is by trying to learn another
person?s lessons for them. Once again this cannot be done, it is a dead end
street leading to you guessed it, failure. When you try to learn for another
what you are really doing is trying to take away the power of their
confidence by replacing it with your own lack of self-esteem. Don?t even
bother going down that road, just focus on your own path that you are
creating with each present choice made and step taken, that is made to
complete your own lessons. Every lesson that you complete is a dream now
being lived. What can possibly give you more confidence than knowing that
you are the embodiment of the manifestation of your dreams? Anyways, don?t
you have enough lessons of your own to learn? If you didn?t, you wouldn?t
still be here.

A final sure way to lose your confidence is through the habit of
procrastination. To procrastinate is to choose failure before you even
begin. A dream can only be lived right now; you cannot delay a dream and at
the same time feel confident in it. Procrastination is the ultimate
hesitation; it is the feeling of uncertainty and indecisiveness. A dream
cannot be lived if you doubt the dream is even possible. Be spontaneous,
don?t put off your desires, and may all that you create be created with the
confidence of a blessed Creator.

peace,
Mikey

Thank You! This is so timely for me because my husband and I are in
very different places about diet and we have two little boys (one's
still strictly breastfed, but) we are conflicted about what our
toddler will eat, which easily bleeds into my wanting to control what
food even comes into the house. Thank you, thank you.

letting go of control,
Polly
