I lived in Los Angeles for a year and a half and I know of one health
food store which was in Venice, around the corner from The Novel
Cafe...(212 Pier Avenue Santa Monica 310.396,8566 www.novelcafe.com)
While I was there I sang in the Cor Cymraeg De Califfornia
(welsh choir of southern ca.) and it was wonderful! They usually do a
St. David's day concert (March I think.) They usually bring a harpist
and soloist from Wales. It's usually quite a musical feast. I was
surprised to find that my time there was quite peaceful, happy and
constructive.
