anywayz maybe you are pointing to the dark night of the soul text from
david where there is talk about the collective dark night of the soul
somewhere in 2005 (by an economic collapse?).
anywayz it was intresting to see a documentary a few weeks ago on
dutch tv where they played the scenario of the us economy that
collapsed because of their huge dificit etc and how it would affect
the world. they made it look like it was a live news broadcast with
interviews etc.
it was kind of funny to see something like that on tv.

dw: you just made me realize that katrina was what that reading was talking
about. look at how the gas prices went up. sure, it went back down, but that
was the trigger for the dark night...

i'm in a rush out the door this morning but i think we just figured out what
that reading was talking about.

dear david and all,

i see katrina and the dark night of the soul connection going much deeper than
gas prices. the whole scenario forced the populace to recognize that the govt
is not going to save us from disaster. in fact we saw some of what we are facing
when we rely on and allow the govt to take control of our lives.

many people experienced discomfort and were awakened by the shock of the images.
others realized more deeply the ability that we each have to bring comfort to
those that are hurting. coming to the understanding that it is our caring for
each other and our innate willingness to go out of our way to help those in need
that will carry us through the hard times.

that isn't here yet...in terms of the collective dark night of the soul.
wait until 2008...that's when things are going to become truly nasty, imho.
that was something mentioned on mayanmajix as well from what i saw. 2008 is
when the us govt is going to start truly emulating nazi germany.

then the dark night was only for the usa.
in the rest of the world the gas prices went up to but there was never
a real problem with supply's etc.
it was not the same as in the 70's when the oil industry decided to
stop producing oil and all the high ways were without cars etc.
i think it sure is the warning sign for the future.
and it was a syncronicity to see a documentary about an economic
collapse (with the huge deficit in the usa and it consequences) on
dutch national tv.

helaas it's in dutch.
if they talk about it in a documentary on national tv then it means
some people are really expecting this in my view. they actually say
it: the deficits in the usa form a timebomb under the world economy.
it's unthinkable that china etc will keep financing the deficits from
uncle sam. just like the pound sterling once made place for the
dollar, so will the dollar do the same, in this and 10 years but the
effects will be worldwide.

so for me the above is exactly what the article about the dark night
of the soul was talking about. only one chinese person with a lot of
dollars has to decide one day to sell all of it and the whole thing is
a go...
