View Full Version : Getting Satisfaction

are you satisfied with the way that life is unfolding? did you notice that
i did not ask you how ?your? life is unfolding? the reason i phrased that
question so carefully is because life cannot be owned or possessed in any
way. there is no ?my? life, there is no ?your? life, there is not one
single iota of ownership of life at all; there is just life as an infinite
whole expressing as the totality of experience. life is being and being is
life. to claim that you ?have? a life is to create an imaginary separation
from life itself. who is this ?my? that thinks it ?has? a life anyway? if
you own a life then what does that make you? all is life so how could
anything possibly own that which all is?

are you content with whom you are at this precise moment of time? are there
any unfulfilled desires and longings that keep you wanting more than what
already is which in turn keeps you cut off from the everlasting peace and
perfection of now? as long as you want something more, as long as the
future or the past is thought about as being more fulfilling than now then
the feeling of being satisfied will always be out of reach. is not now
enough? is not being the presence which makes the present moment possible
enough reason to be satisfied? what could possibly be more fulfilling than
being one with life?

getting satisfaction is as simple as accepting the moment and all that comes
with it exactly as it is. whatever it is that life brings to your senses
greet it with an open and joyful heart as if you actually desired to
experience whatever is occurring for at deeper levels of your being that is
precisely the case. to be satisfied is to know that right now is truly
enough. satisfaction can only be experienced within the present when you
realize that nothing can be better than now. satisfaction cannot be gotten
in the past and neither can it be gotten in the future for satisfaction is a
feeling and feelings can only be felt in the now. i am now, i am life, i am
enough for presence is the only satisfaction there is as love pervades and
unfolds as the creation.

mikey
