All of us struggle to accept the understanding that an
earthquake that kills more than 40k people is serving
some purpose. This news article can help us come to
terms with that as we see people who were focused on
killing turning their efforts towards compassion for
their fellow man.

Militants linked with Al Qaeda and terrorist attacks
inside Pakistan are providing aid to the earthquake
victims.

"Latif Dar, who was injured in the quake, said the
militant groups had been much faster than military and
civilian authorities helping quake victims.

"They rescued hundreds of people and they are
providing food, tents and medical aid to hundreds of
others in areas where the army has not yet reached,"
Dar said."

Dear Elmer,
I do understand the deeper part of your message, and in no way is it lost to
this reader. We are complex in nature, are we not? In no way would I ever
suggest that behavior of these, or any such individuals or groups is
defensible. It simply is not. It does bring up important understanding with
respect to Loo principles and the cause, if not the philosophy, of
war/aggression/hostility, and such.

Understanding, even the vilest of such acts however, is what is crucial as human
beings sharing this Terra Firma we call home, with or without Loo principles in
mind. Understanding is critical. In no manner does this understanding make such
reprehensible behavior acceptable. It does not. To suggest though that any one
individual or group with cause has as it's "focus" killing, misses the mark.
Killing as focus is psychopathic. Killing as consequence for cause is something
altogether more comple,

"Killing" is not the focus, as ugly as it is. Strangely, even grotesquely so,
and herein lies the rub in 3D, killing is "consequence" of "love". Love and
understanding of such, it might/should be argued, particularly from an Loo
perspective, is indeed, in this case, (their) higher ground in righteousness,
they would and do argue. . They would argue, and do, that they defend honor for
sovereignty, for country, for family, for history, for the generations that went
before them, for patriotism, for religion , for etc etc. against the imperial
invaders (us) .

Killing is consequence of love. How strange. How grotesque. How spooky
beautiful.

Love is present even in the vilest of behaviors...death. As nation States
replete with sovereign principles, we kill with vigor, gusto, bravado, and even
adulate our warriors that do. We are a strange lot indeed. Much to learn to be
sure. But we must needs understand first and foremost why we do.

It is the only way through, ascending from within, to transcend out.

We kill, they kill, all God's children kill in conjugating defense as direct
result of love. How very strange. Might that we would all see the love and
grander purpose of our behavior, would we stop,....and just love...sufficient
unto itself ?

We kill as well, and we send aid. They kill as well, and they send aid. Both
sides killing may be More pure in it's love than may be either of our aids? Do
either of us aid in purity of heart through love, solely without masked agenda
of winning favor in recruiting minds, hearts, monies, and more bodies as
righteous fodder for more killing? Or do we kill from a more pure perspective of
love, be it for family, country, principle, self love of power/money/land
holding or needed territory? We are a strange and wonderful complex lot, are we
not?

I close, and do so once again, by stating empirically, your point is not lost.
It brings up interesting point. We are complex. We are beautiful. We are love.

I remain faithfully,

Drake.
