dear group,

i have just surfed a site that i have not seen mentioned in the archives.

http://noosphere.princeton.edu/

describes the ongoing research of statistical measurement of global
consciousness through a small global network of computers.
significant deviations were observed prior the events of 9-11 by about
3 days and around 5:00 a.m. on 9-11 measurements started to soar prior
to the event. the specific 9-11 link is:

http://noosphere.princeton.edu/terror.html

toward the end of the article, measurements are made on 9-14 between
12:00 and 12:03 edt when the prayer service started at the washington
national cathedral. statistically significant changes were noted
indicating the power of prayer.

i an not an expert on this site but as i have recently relocated to
the princton area i will take the opportunity to learn more.

have been lurking off and on for awhile in the group - but have had
nothing to contribute until now.

opening the door.

i want to thank you too, sam, for posting this site. i have spent about the
last hour reading the material and it is wonderful. i found it particularly
interesting to note that the measurements began to increase before the actual
attack. the hate, or whatever energy the terrorists en mass were putting
out, or our own knowingness that something was getting ready to happen, was
registering. everyone should read the material if they possibly can. there
is even a place where you can sign up to make donations to the research or
even to host one of the measuring "eggs" if you have the computer capability.

thanks for posting this, sam. this is absolutely
amazing stuff! i remember visiting this site before
but wasn't convinced that it was anything special at
the time. however, the evidence from the attacks is
quite convincing.

i find the way they measure global consciousness quite
fascinating, being a computer science guy. if i've
understood the site correctly, basically they have
about 40 computers set up all around the world
recording data on programs that they're running called
random event generators. and the amazing thing is
that these regs seem to react to peak moments of mass
consciousness, like the wtc tragedy. which means that
the randomness generated becomes less random or
something like that, ostensibly in reaction to times
of intense focus by many people. so they seem to have
a pretty good experiment going, and it's great to see
people at princeton working on stuff like this.

hope to hear from you more, sam. thanks!

jeremy
