dear bill;

thank you very much for your complements and assistance with correcting
the errors in the article, it seems no matter how many times i might read my
own work another eye / mind will pick up somethings i might have become
blind to, (especially spell checkers) i believe you are corecct regarding my
'fusing' anselm's work into augustine and will make the appropriate
corrections. it would seem anslem, aquinas and augustine were all thinking
on similar lines.

i heard the arguments when i was in school and as a devoute agnostic i spent
many hours trying to think it out and it was on a night many years later i
was looking up at the stars and it hit me what he was saying. i was no
longer agnostic from that point on; yet had no time for conventional
religion as i saw it similar to your words " if worship is even the right
word since it brings to mind so many negative practices."

these to me seeming very close to idolotry.

i personally do not believe that the arguments (of anslem & co) do prove the
existance of god as creation being endless in past and future still does not
nessitate an "original" creator. as the word "creator" itself in some ways
indicates a begininng.hence limitation. however the introduction of anslems
work in the article was more an exercise in opening the mind to the concepts
that followed..then of course words are poor tools in the attempt at a
description of god.

as with "worship". being associated with mental pictures of natives
dancing round totem poles. personally i believe our actions in relationship
to others 24 / 7 are the actual act of worship, and discussion such as what
we are engaged in , reserch, thinking etc would fit my concept of worship.
the activity of imparting energy to sacred places being a pleasant
evolutionary action that happens when one density interacts with another in
such a way. 6th density wanderers being an example of higher levels teaching
our 'stone headed race' to move up the chain.

another element being the often mentioned 'desire of the creator to know
itself' and the creation of free will being the result / mechanism for this
to happen, hence our existance and having free will the ability to 'assist'
in the process??

i must admit that exploring the issues that emerge from ra's teaching on
intelligent infinity bent my mind around a few corners and i wondered if i
was suffiecently knowlegable to even write it. i hope someone can do a
better job and take us all further into uderstanding the nature of
inteligent infinity, god, free will and worship, the former still presents
problems to me as the issue of 'congregation' is involved and in some ways
this list is to my mind a form of congregation & "worship", depending on how
close we all keep to the central reason of its existance. (lo1)

again, thanks for the assistance and i will make the corrections asap,
hopefully i will get some more ideas from others to improve the piece.

peace
david gray

ps: i was often told confusion is a most usefull state of mind as it
indicates reasoning.
