View Full Version : Keep in Mind what you think

Regarding diet and nutrition... and the Law of One.

One very important, if not the most important aspect of diet and
nutrition is "WHAT DO YOU ACCEPT AND BELIEVE"?

If you believe that raw meat is bad for you, then it is. On the other
hand if you believe that eating raw liver gives you boundless energy
and vitality - then it will. If you believe that raw sprouts are good
for you, then they are. If you believe that eating raw sprouts will
give you intestinal gas, then it will. If you believe that eggs must
be eaten raw and never cooked, because eating them cooked will give
you constipation, then it will.

If you believe that improper food combinations will give you
heartburn and indigestion, then they will. If you believe that
drinking coffee after meals helps your digestion, then it does. If
you believe that eating fish is bad for you, then it is.

The most significant part of nutrition to my way of thinking is our
belief system. When we try anything new in our diet, our belief
system will eventually determine the end result - we will either
reject or accept.

One reason why placebos work in so many tests and trials is because
of the mind/belief system of the individual.

Ra always tells us to disregard anything that does not resound within
us as being correct and right, and only accept what we deem proper
and fitting. Same must be said for what is taught regarding nutrition.
And that is why, imho, that you have hundreds or even thousands of
testimonies from certain diet/nutrition advocates that will always
contradict and deny what others are teaching.

From my perspective the mind is a very powerful "machine" which we
will never fully comprehend.

Gene, I hear you. The mind is powerful, but perhaps there
are agenda's going on at unconcious levels we are not
aware of. In my case what I think should work often does
not! Numerous times I have become convinced of the
desirability of adding or removing items to my diet that
simply DON'T WORK despite my positive mind set concerning
them....understand that I don't give up easily as I keep
going until my body or mind starts to fail...even when
friends tell me that I look like death warmed over I
pass it off as just an temporary elimination crisis.NOT!

Prayer directed to water or food has been "proven" to
have effects. But it may be that my conciousness level
is too low to effect such changes.

love to all..including what we eat and drink, etc.

PS The good Dr. Emato advises that we bless and thank
the very water we pour down the drain as it becomes
super-duper positive seed water to benefit those
downstream.

You make a good point about the placebo effect, but it really isn't as
simple as that. The physical aspect is just as real as the
psychological. I believed that a raw vegan diet would make me
incredibly healthy. It did, for a few months, until I started getting
mineral deficiencies, lethargy and loss of mental acuity. Followed by
nausea and pre-diabetic symptoms.

Love and Light,

Graeme

I had similar experiences (although, as I said, there were other
factors, not just the diet, in my case, that I wasn't really aware
of). Yet, I do agree that our beliefs DO affect our realities. How to
reconcile this? Maybe there is a difference between what we
consciously THINK we believe and what we REALLY, deep down, believe
and attract in our lives.
