i assume that, just as higher-density entities assist us in our
harvest, we too can assist those harvestable to 3d (many of our
pets, as ra confirmed). since the requirement for harvestability to
3d is self-awareness, many pets already are harvestable.
however, i am wondering whether we might affect what sort of humans
they might become. for example, it is common knowledge that dogs
tend to have a control structure in their packs, recognizing
an 'alpha' male as leader, and the other dogs being submissive.
there are many books written on dog behavior, and humans are
encouraged to make sure their dogs know without question that all
humans in the household are alpha to the dogs.
this is obviously necessary in the case of living with dogs. but, i
wonder if it is possible to stretch them a bit. for example, my
female dog always submits to the male, and the male always eats
first, etc. according to dog experts, this is acceptable. but now i
question: since these dogs are very smart, and very loving, i wonder
if it is possible to start teaching them consideration for others.
like maybe sometimes feeding the female first. dog experts would say
this would disrupt their social order and confuse them.
but, in light of the knowledge that they might be humans soon, i
wonder...
incidentally, i noticed something interesting. i normally feed my
dogs 'natural' but still processed dog food. i read that giving dogs
raw meat would improve their immune systems, since they are not
designed to eat cooked food. i have no problem with giving them meat
since they are obviously carnivorous. so, occasionally i buy meat
for them. every time i have given them raw meat, they have become
very aggressive towards each other. not just while they were eating
it, but for a couple of weeks afterwards.
interesting observation...i wonder what the implications are for
humans...
