Namaste,
I started reading Neale Donald Walsch's latest book "What God Wants" and
this is a writing inspired from a little phrase from the book which says "BE
THE SOURCE"
What does it mean to ?be the source?? It means to be the cause instead of
the effect; it means to take full responsibility for being the Creator of
your own karma, you own life, instead of being a victim to the circumstances
that life seemingly throws your way. To be the source means to be the cause
of that which you desire to experience. To be the source means to be the
cause of how you wish to feel. In other words, be the source of that which
you desire.
How do you do that? By giving to another that which you wish to receive.
If you wish to feel joy then be the cause of joy to another, if you wish to
feel peace then be the cause of peace to another, if you wish to feel
abundance then be the cause of abundance to another, if you wish to feel
companionship then be the cause of companionship to another, if you wish to
feel hope then be the cause of hope to another, if you wish to feel love
then be the cause of love to another, if you wish to feel freedom then be
the cause of freedom to another. To be the source is that simple, whatever
it is that you wish to experience, be the cause for another to experience
it. In that giving you will receive, it is the way that freedom keeps
itself free, it is how the universe continues to expand. By being the
source you are being the change you wish to experience in the world.
Do not worry about the effect for it will naturally take care of itself by
flowing back to its source. As long as you are giving away freely and
unconditional that which you wish to experience to another, the effect will
always be the feelings of love, union, joy, peace and freedom. The
expectation for a return of your giving with any agenda towards a certain
outcome is the one sure way to restrict and limit that which you wish to
experience and feel.
The gift must be free, free of all attachments, in order for freedom to be
felt and received within your heart. The heart of your being is the source
of your being; it is the alpha and the omega, it is the cause and the
effect. Be that source, be one with the source of all beings, be the cause
of limitless light and boundless love. When you stand up as the cause of
peace, the whole creation is effected peacefully.
peace,
Mikey
