[Steve] Surrender is creating a space, in heartfelt, sensitive, expectation,
with nothing on your mind but Gods truth, Gods light, And Gods love, and
that need not even be in your mind, it need only be in your heart.
A radiant spark of that Divine truth, that light, and that love, twinkles
within our hearts. We may create an empty space around that
spark by surrendering all in total trust, by giving up all in complete
faith, and by humbly offering all, including our open hearts, our
heartfelt love and our personal will, utterly to God. We have no
need of any expectation about the outcome of such surrender, when we make
one simple to prayer to the Divine; ?What is Thy Will?? For in this
surrender, as our trust, faith and
love for Divinity become absolute, we may rest assured that our prayer
will be answered.
As we have made room within through our openhearted surrender, into
the emptied space that has been created there, may pour the pure Love and
Will of God that has been entreated with such humility. And as that
Divine Love and Will fills the empty space that has been created within
our hearts, It may touch the spark that lives there, igniting it and setting
it ablaze so that our hearts become illuminated with the Light of Truth.
And with brightness and fullness within our hearts from such an inpouring
of Divinity, we may find that in our perfect surrender, we become compelled
to empty ourselves further still, and to share the Love we have received
by giving it away.
