"25920 + 1/3 * 25920 = 34560
=> 4/3 * 25920 = 34560
=> 4/3 is the ratio of a diatonic "perfect 4th"
=> 34560 is the musical perfect 4th "pitch" to a 25920 "root"
(34560 is the diatonic 4th to the precession ratio)
(3/2 is a perfect 5th, which multiplies the 4/3 4th to make the
octave, 2 = 4/3 * 3/2)"
Thanks Brian! ... actually this is starting to make a little sense to me
now. I'm pasting a link at the end of this paragraph to a picture of an
impossible staircase. I don't know why but it seems to be on the right
track. The link claims to have the musical illusion equivalent to the
pictorial illusion but no such link exists.

This is going to require some thought... Isn't the diatonic scale it's self
somewhat of an illusionary staircase on it's own? Suppose that's why there
is no link or did the guy just really forget to put it in?
