I noticed this too but didn't want to say anything since I've only
been watching the sun images daily for a month now. The soho site at
http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/realtime/ gives you a good sense
as to changes going on with the sun (new pictures daily). The
following site http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/realtime/ gives
some technical data. From what I know the red lines on the middle
graph on the this site represent intense x-ray activity from the sun -
I've noticed from the pictures of the sun and these graphs that when
it all gets active people really start to get edgy - it's really
interesting to see the correlations happen in 'real life'. - Jaiyson
