Dear Thomas,
Welcome to the group, sorry it took so long, we
seemed to get sidetracked in a bit of internal
squabbling.
For a 'newbie' you certainly raise some thought
provoking questions which deserve serious
discussion. That's what we're supposed to be here
for, we might not know the answers, but you'll
find there are lots of opinions.
1) Can't help on numerology of 'Jesus', but an
intriguing thought came to me the other night: for
those who claim 'Jesus' is a myth, never really
existed etc., - how then do we explain
Christianity? Does anyone seriously maintain that
the world's most prevalent religion (?) grew to
such prominence, and has stood for two millennia,
based on 'a good idea someone dreamed up in the
middle east two thousand years ago' ? I have
little personal time for organised 'Religions' for
several reasons, but the christ-consciousness
resonates within most of us, and if we all strove
towards the core teaching attributed to Jesus, our
world would be a far better place. I'm sure our
mother Earth would find a much easier transition
to 4D.
2) Ra says he exists and gives a perfectly
believable explanation of his life and purpose.
3) Read on, Book 2,3,4.
4) I cannot claim any scientific background, I
mix pure logic and heart-felt emotion to find
David's work fascinating. The concept which
appeals to me is the fractal or holographic nature
of the Universe. Accepting this, then, "Yes," the
interconnectedness becomes ridiculously apparent.
( Not always easy to do, mind you!)
5/6) My take on this is as follows: this 3D jaunt
we're on, is all about choice. Ra says, this is
not the density of knowing. I believe the idea
that light must have dark, good must have bad etc.
etc. is especially a 3D thing. Pain, 'bad', 'dark
nights of the soul' can make very effective
catalyst which all help us to ground our
beliefs/choices more deeply within our selves.
Maybe such catalyst becomes more subtle and
refined as we progress through the densities, so
that we become purer as we approach readiness to
re-join the Creator. But the whole essence of the
Law of One as outlined by Ra is that all is One:
there is no 'right' or 'wrong'. We have a Creator
( we ARE -at least part of - a Creator) who has
infinite patience and infinite Love: he/she knows
we'll get it right in the end. Then, like the
father of the prodigal son, we'll have a party!
In a Universe of Infinite Love, how can there be
punishment, hell-fire, evil? Are these bogey-men
inventions of 'Religious fathers' to control the
masses? Ra discredits the Ten Commandments - "
Thou shalt not..." cannot exist beside a primary
Law of Free Will.
Thomas, thanks for the opportunity, that's my
tuppence worth - (sorry, thruppence nowadays, as
Lesley reminds us: inflation's a terrible thing).
I hope it sheds a little light.
Maybe some of our more enlightened colleagues will
toss their thoughts in the ring to help us all.
Love.
Neil
