I totaly agreew with you on this one, being only 21 years old, about
your age, I know exactly what you mean. When you're alone and are
able to start controling your sexual urges then indeed the sexual
feeling gives way to a desire for a loving, caring relationship
(ofcourse, with the love making included) but as you said, that
doesn't become the focus. The topic of sexual desires and how they
fit in the RA philosophy is realy a whole new (huge) topic that can
be debated endlessly.
On an additional note I heard that people living in rural areas have
a much more satisfactory sex life (I'm talking here about couples
that have been in long term relationships. They have done a study and
a majority of the couples that moved to rural areas observed this
change). So it kinda ties in with the fact that society has many
stereotypes and expectations that it can't wait to plant in our
heads.
but in the end...
love is all that really matters no matter how much or how little sex
you get
