Hi All, lot's of great discussion going on here! I just want to share a quote
from Carl Jung which I have used to great personal benefit and growth.
Everytime I get upset at some "Other", I read this quote (it's posted on my
refrigerator).
"The best political, social, and spiritual work we can do is to withdraw the
projection of our shadow into others" Carl Yung
Every judgment and assumption I make about another, is really about me. Anger
at another is anger at myself. Anytime I feel a negative emotion directed at
another, I look inside. I am very grateful to the Source for this instant sign
that I am wrong. If we start to admit to ourselves that we are wrong, we can
begin to choose something different and better. Embracing the fact that we are
all truly One brings me to the point of seeing the absurdity of my judging and
punishing another. -g'night....-Mark
