>firstly i wish to express my condolences, sympathies and empathies with those who have suffered direct personal injuries or losses of lives in this massive act of terrorism in new york, washington and pittsburg. my brother in law just found out that his daughter's boyfriend, who works at the pentagon, is ok, so there are many souls who are fortunate to have survived such a massive attack.
>
>as with all of you, i eagerly await david's statement on this event. if you will allow me, i'd like to offer my perspective of why this happened. please, if youcan, bear with me in your reading of this perspective. it is a hard-nosed one. i couldn't help but be struck by the day's date, 9/11/01...or "911" for short. hmmm. it strikes me as an event that is on par with or even greater than jfk's assasination or pearl harbor and strikes me as a wake up call world-wide on many levels.
>
>i have seen many of the so-called "leaders" in this country call this attack "an attack on freedom" as "another day of infamy", as "another pearl harbor" and "an act of war".
>
>well, war has finally come home to the country that has the greatest vested interest in the continuation and perpetuation in war...the united states. i must make it very clear that there are three specific "united states", as defined in a surpreme court case; what specific case, i can't recall at the moment. but the "united states" that i refer to is the corporate united states(the all caps is not shouting, nor emphasis in text, but is to show how they present themselves), which is the number one arms merchant in the world and the number one perpetuator in actions that have taken away the freedom of many millions of people world-wide in complicity with many other entities--people and governments alike.
>
>make no mistake about it: the united states government, as we know it today, is a corporation that cares only about making profits off the misery and enslavement of many millions of people world-wide, including its own citizens. i am a former us citizen, but now am no longer one because i have done due diligent research into the issues of what is going on today, so i have chosen not to be a citizen-slave like so many us citizens. i have expatriated out of the slavery of us citizenship and reverted back to being a citizen(note the capitalized "c")of the original united states of america(note the uncapitalized "u" and the upper/lower case spelling)by being a citizen of the california republic.
>
>unfortunately, the original republic died during the civil war and the corporate united states has been in operation ever since, operating as a de facto government, as opposed to being a de jure government, as our republic was. it has taken many decades of deceit to build up this massive beast, but it has happened because we the people have lost our eternal vigilance, thus have forfeited our fundamental rights of being in charge of our own government. if you think that this government, the united states, is the same one as founded by our founding fathers, you are kidding yourself.
>
>i have said for many years privately to people that there would be massive terrorism attacks on the pentagon or the unbuilding; in what form, i didn't know, but had felt all along that the karma of war would roost in its homeplace. i have had many dozens of dreams of planes crashing to the ground, so i felt that someday that a plane would crash into the pentagon and said so to several people. but it was a general premonition, not a specific one.
>
>don't get me wrong, the hearts of the millions of "us citizens", who have been duped into declaring their citizenship when they signed up to vote, signed up for socialsecurity, sent in their 1040s, etc., are in the place of peace. but that is not where the hearts of the extreme minority of the corporate few who pull the strings of commerce in their favor, at the expense of many. the corporate profits from a few hundred largest corporations is equal to 50% of the income of the entire world, america included.
>
>our founding fathers knew of the dangers and powers of a corporation, which was why they created a system of republics that would keep very tight reigns on any corporation, as its charter would be subject to the revocation by the citizens of any republic state in the union.a corporation, by definition, is a creature of the state and, by definition, the state isof,by and for thepeople, thus the people have the full power to revoke the charter of any corporation. over time, that power has been diluted, then wiped out over the decades. the federal reserve, the social security, the department of defense, ad infinitum, are all part of a massive corporation, the united states, that was/is guided only by the priciples of greed/power and not liberty and justice.
>
>the system that our founding fathers created was a brilliant one, but, as benjamin franklin said in response to a query as to what happened in a vote in the continental congress, "...a republic, if you can keep it.", goes to show that we the people failed to keep it and allowed the war-basedbeast to form instead. the people as a whole were not mature enough to maintain the neccessary eternal vigilance and balance of powers that is essential for a republic to stand.
>
>in my view, the ideals and brilliant systems of governanceexpressed by our founding fathers will find full flower in the 4th density and i, for one, really look forward to that. i feel that their gift to the world was to help people awaken to the possibilities of peace, as juxtaposed to the wages of war.
>
>do not be fooled by the so-called "leaders" that freedom is under attack when the very government that they run is guilty of denying the freedom of many millions of people world-wide. do not be fooled that the prior significant terrorist act, the okc bombing, was an act created by the militia--it was an act created and carried out by no less than the government itself. i have seen reams of very strong evidence and testimony that the okc bombing was an act of terror conducted by this corporate government in complicity with the unwitting members of the militia. i wondered, honestly, if this government created this massive terrorism event? did it? it has done so many other horriffic atrocities world-wide, so the question must be asked--did the us government, or some secret arm of it, create this event? it is hard to imagine that it would create an damaging event of this magnitude, but i really do wonder. too much damgage to itself, not to mention the massive collateral damage to many thousand of innocent people makes it plausible for it to be a true international terrorism event; yet it is equally plausible, given this track record of this government, the us, to have sponsored this awful event. i suspect that itmay the karma of war coming to roost in the home of the #1 arms merchant of the world. 75% of all arms profits, war profits and war gains go to corporations under the umbrella of the mother of corporations, the united states.
>
>i truly wish that this was not so and that this event did not happen, but it is reality. yes, send love to everyone, but don't be ignorant of the fundamental causes of these kinds of events, which is my main point in this hard-nosed letter. don't ignore the causes of these kinds of events!
>
>this event is a perfect precursor to a nation-wide martial law to be pressed into effect. i know for certain that martial lawhas beendesired by the corporate gov't for many reasons. such an event can easily mask a collapse of the financial markets or other things which this beast does not wish for it's gullible citizens to know.

>first let me assure all the americans on this list that among my friends in australia we all feel a deep empathy for your loss. you certainly have our prayers.

>interesting, i have spent the last month working on this terms major assignment for psychology. the topic has been exploring the issue of affect (emotion) verses cognition (thinking) for predicting voting intentions. in our day of graphic television coverage affect wins hands down for shaping our political opinions. this may well be whatthe ra material is referring too with the term "dispassionate service". that is be aware of how emotion can cloud your perception and further how the media can be used to tweak your emotional strings.
>
>a few hard view thoughts and observations in light of our current circumspection.
>
>also on monday 45,000 people died of starvation of which 38,000 were children. this figure may be slightly wrong but it is the daily average for the last couple of years. see thom heartmann's book "the last hours of ancient sunlight" for further information.
>
>these people could be fed and educated with a 0.1 percent levy on turnover of the worlds stock exchanges. in fact this proposal was raised recently but memory fails me here so if any one recalls further details on this it would be greatly appreciated.

>consider the lack of self esteem and desperation for those that fight to avoid starvation on a daily basis. not to mention disease.
>
>from one of steve greer's articles: "the 250 wealthiest families in the world own as much as the 2.5 billion poorest people on the planet".
>
>look at the earths problems in terms of consumption and distribution. for example a child in north america consumes 80 times as much as a child in bangladesh. overpopulation is not the real issue consumption is. why do the media only concentrate on the gdp and not the sustainability of our natural resources?how long can this continue and will those who have abused our natural resources for profit pick up the tab for the mess they have created?
>
>from an article that had a list of the top 100 countries and multinational in the world (source: sydney morning herald several months ago). only 3 or 4 countries were bigger in value than general electric. 47 american multinationals made the list. consider the power and influence these companies have. remember that their primary goal is to provide as much profit as possible to the shareholders. environmental and welfare issues are very low on their agenda.
>
>i believe that to run for president in america a budget of around 300 to 400 million us dollars is required. the questions that come to my mind are 1. how many people are capable of raising that kind of money? 2.what deals are made to get donations? 3.can you really call this democracy?
>
>now for the positive side and the really question "what can we do about this?"
>
>the first thing is to raise these issues with others. personally i make a point of talking to at least one or two people every day on issues to do with sustainability, welfare, self-empowerment, taking responsibility e.t.c. i do this with my customers and also with people i have met at university.
>
>i have another idea that i am trying to nut out at the moment. clearly those with the resources and power are failing the majority of people on this planet. not all businessis bad though. the business environment today encourages avoidance of welfare and environmental responsibility. on the other hand more people are expecting this from business but politicians seem to lack the willpower and ability to enforce this.the other problem is it is hard to find which companies are acting in a responsible way andthose that are not. so my idea is to set up an internet site that list those companies with strong welfare and environmental practices and have links to them and their products. further people who use this service can pay a small fee or percentage which the listed company would meet dollar for dollar (this is not compulsory). the consumer could then have a choice of various environmental or welfare projects that the combined contribution would go to.
>
>of course this idea needs more than just me to get off the ground but i would be interested to hear what others think. i have more detailed ideas on how this could work but for the moment i just wanted to see what you guys thought in principle.
>
