i'll print this out and carry it with me today...

dear god,

send love and peace to anyone still trapped in the buildings,
feeling so very abandoned, and certainly very scared.
help them in this most desperate experience.
give them breathe and life and time if they wish it,
so that those around them can help them.

send love and peace to those who have lost their loved ones.
help them connect with their loved ones in their hearts,
and help them to know that they will see those loved again soon.

send love and peace to the rescue workers.
give them strength to help the many suffering.

send love and peace to our government.
help them to make their choices with love, not hate.

send love and peace those who caused such terror in the lives of so
many.
and help all of us to accept their actions, forgive them, knowing
that their actions have given us great catalyst to define ourselves
further. help us all to love more than we ever thought we could.

amen.
