I know what you mean, Olga. Having studied ACIM
extensively in the past, I got a sense that the author
<ahem> saw the ego as completely an obstacle and not
as a learning tool. Of course, ACIM never says this,
and toward the end takes a very LoO-ey approach to the
ego. I think the key is not embracing any one
approach 100% but being flexible, and adopting ways of
thinking that demonstrate benefit to us. We're going
to do ego-based things anyway, but at least things
like LoO and ACIM help us become *aware* of what we
are doing and their source.
