View Full Version : Faith?

I'm new. Blown away by 'Divine Cosmos', well on with 'Law of One' study guide.
Makes sense to me so far.

However, in 'Ascension: Is it Real? (9/26/03), Ra/Willcock says, "If one has a
rather immature concept of the universal cosmology which includes such things as
implicit forgiveness once one is saved by the Blood of the Lamb, so to speak,
then ....as long as one continues to pay tithes to the church or to otherwise
repent for one's sins, as they have been called, then a balance of sorts is
created."

I accept each of us should deliberately choose our creed, unthinking acceptance
of so-called 'established' religious doctrines is shallow, but

Is there no room for Faith? Surely the great teacher, Jesus said,
" I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you
will never enter the kingdom of heaven." [Matthew 18:3 NIV-UK].

I'm sure most of us know simple, uncomplicated souls who live service to others
without study - and indeed interest in study - of cosmic/philosphical/scientific
matters: they probably enjoy a much more harmonious incarnation than we. Can
Infinite Love ignore/overlook/down-grade them?

Guidance, please.
Neil.

I think faith can be broken down into many subpartitions. For
example I have faith that when I wake up everyday it will be in my
own bed, not on another planet. Although these faiths are
trivialities, probably not what you are talking about.

What you are probably talking about is, I think, akin to the pure
essence of STO(service to others). I have faith that other people
will be friendly to me each day, it goes hand in hand with trust. If
you totally surrender to the infinite forces that bind our essence
then I think faith IS the belief and the motivation to follow that
realization, it is, in this way the core of the spiritual. Because
in our 3rd reality there is little more than faith and tufts of truth
floating around to allow us to grab hold.

I'd like to think that if a top of 6th density being incarnated
anywhere, in any situation bad or good s/he would have an unshakable
belief in the divine cosmic reality. This is, in some ways, the
essence of faith. Anyways, thats my tidbit of info

Welcome Niel! Im new too.

I think the idea of faith is null and void once your intention turns from
being a loving kind and giving person to that of greedy, self-sustaining,
negative etc. Faith as i see it is merely a 'tool' for those to use who need
some
more 'substance' for thier belief systems to add to thier everyday being, that
which they find desireable. make sense? It is basically to me "filling in all
the holes in an otherwise perfect plan with pure love and trust" kind of like,
akin to 'take what you want and leave the rest'. does this resonate?

I certainly do know the sort, but i believe that we are all guided by our
inner being to that which we need individually to become who we truly are, to
know ourselves. Some people simply dont need to know teh specifics in order to
undersand and live on faith. others want to understand more in order to
integrate fully. either way, all paths lead to the same conclusion - in this
sense we
all have identical intent.

Guidance, please.

Thank you for the post! Love, Kyle!
