The analogy I came up with (or maybe I read it somewhere, not sure)
is that our awareness is a ripple in a pool of nothingness/infinity.
That our awareness expands as a ripple in a pool of water expands.
That the water already exists outside our awareness, but we haven't
reached it there yet from our point of view.
