View Full Version : Astral Projection vs Ray Instreamings

hi all, i guess this is a little off topic but i was just browsing a
webpage that suggested that if someone is trying to astral project
they will feel certain tinglings. does anyone know if this is the
same expression of energy that is caused by ray instreamings. i
also recently found this.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
questioner: each of us feels, in meditation, energy upon the head in
various places. could you tell me what this is, what it signifies,
and what the various places in which we feel it signify?

ra: i am ra. forgetting the pyramid will be of aid to you in the
study of these experiences. the in-streamings of energy are felt by
the energy centers which need, and are prepared for, activation.
thus those who feel the stimulation at violet-ray level are getting
just that. those feeling it within the forehead between the brows
are experiencing indigo ray and so forth. those experiencing
tingling and visual images are having some blockage in the energy
center being activated and thus the electrical body spreads this
energy out and its effect is diffused.
-session #50
--------------------------------------------------------------------

i'm wondering if these "blockages" were removed or controled then
you would be able to astral project, here's a quote from the page i
just read.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
step four:
enter a state of vibration. this is the most important part of the
technique, and also the most vague. many projectors have noted these
vibrations at the onset of projection. they can be experienced as a
mild tingling, or as is electricity is being shot through the
body. /their cause is a mystery. it may actually be the astral body
trying to leave the physical one
...
even if you don't know what these vibrations are, you will know when
you have achieved contact with them.

step five:
learn to control the vibrational state. practice controlling them by
mentally pushing them into your head, down to your toes, making them
surge throughout your entire body, and producing vibrational waves
from head to foot. to produce this wave effect, concentrate of the
vibrations and mentally push a wave out of your head and guide it
down your body. practice this until you can induce these waves on
command. once you have control of the vibrational state, you are
ready to leave the body.

step six:
begin with a partial separation. the key here is thought control.
keep your mind firmly focused on the idea of leaving the body. do
not let it wander. stray thought might cause you to lose control of
the state.
now, having entered the vibrational state, begin exploring the obe
by releasing a hand or a foot of the "second body". monroe suggests
that you extend a limb until it comes in contact with a familiar
object, such as a wall near your bed. then push it through the
object. return the limb by placing it back into coincidence with the
physical one, decrease the vibrational rate, and then terminate the
experiment. lie quietly until you have fully returned to normal.
this exercise will prepare you for full separation.

so i guess what i'm asking is does anyone here have experience with
both chakra manipulation and astral projection so that they could
confirm or disavow this.

hi dave,

my best advice for you is to get a copy of robert bruce's book called astral
dynamics. this book shows you how to stimulate the secondary chakra's before
activating the primary chakra's. his site is called astralpulse, i don't
have the link on hand but drew posted it a couple of weeks ago and i have
also several times over the years.

i am off to see bowie this weekend so i will send it to you after that if
you have no luck.

my experience suggests that extra energy is drawn in through the conscious
or unconscious stimulation of your chakras. the chakras can be stimulated
consciously by visualizing a set of imaginary hands. the secondary chakras
are typically found at the joints. try this by relaxing and closing your
eyes and then using your imaginary hands consciously circle round the joint
between your big toe and your foot. if you are like me you should get a
tingling sensation after about 30 seconds to a minute. you then move on to
the next joint etc. you can also do this with the joints between your
fingers and your hand. you then work up the arm and legs. this preliminary
work will help you substantially when you start working on the primary
chakras.

my experience indicates this is a real phenomena. i tend to lose
consciousness on re-entering my physical body. from dreams and meditations i
often am left with a residual vibration and now get impromptu activations of
an arm or leg, more recently i have been getting powerful surges through my
back and also different parts of the head. when a hand is activated i can
pass this on to another person and they can also feel it, more in the form
of heat rather than vibration, though the vibration can sometimes also be
seen visually.

in one meditation i could also feel the change in vibration as i changed
through the densities from 4th, 5th to sixth. it seems the frequency
increased while the amplitude decreased giving the vibration a finer feeling
as you go up through the densities.in this meditation i was also given a
perspective as if i was looking out of a type of platonic solid vehicle,
this view changed with the vibration. see david's shift of the ages chapter
two as the platonic solids and their associated densities are given there.

i hope that is of some help. if you have any more question just ask and i
will do my best to reply after the weekend.

cheers,

mawk

hi dave

from my experience this is somehow the same, with astral projection
the vibrations feel the same as with meditation only diffrence that
i see is that with astral projection this is mostly over the whole
body and not only in parts of the body.
i also had some astral projections without any vibration feeling but
just getting absorbed in colors with my eyes closed.
it also feels the same as the energy tingelings i feel when i
listen to music that touches my inner being. there was a discussion
about that recently on the forum.
also in my opinion the way for achieving astral projection is just
another form of meditation, i learned to meditate trough practising
out of body experiences/astral projections without knowing that
they had much in common.

from the ra quote :

"ra: i am ra. forgetting the pyramid will be of aid to you in the
study of these experiences. the in-streamings of energy are felt by
the energy centers which need, and are prepared for, activation.
those feeling it within the forehead between the brows are
experiencing indigo ray and so forth. those experiencing
tingling and visual images are having some blockage"

what i wonder now is where is the diffrence between feeling
instreaming energy and a tingeling experience wich imply's
blockage.
cause i always labeled the experience as a tingeling sensation or
feeling a pressure like on the third eye etc although it sometimes
felt diffrent but it's hard to label it.
much depends on personal perception i guess and looking inside
would show the diffrence when we see what's running around in the
mind.

any thoughts on this?

btw i experience much trouble with accessing the yahoo group at
groups.yahoo.com most of the time i get : this page is currently
unavailable please try again later
does anybody have this to i receive the mails without a problem
but i can't respond most of the times because i get this error
message.

peace and joy

i have experienced vibes after trying to mentally "reach out" to
images i saw during hypnagogic imagery. the vibes were intense, and
i was able to imagine them moving around where i wanted.

then my body felt lighter and lighter, and i was reaching out to
separate... but then i was woke up unexpectedly by my boyfriend.
*sigh*

monroe's techniques are pretty good, in my opinion.

for conscious astral projection, it takes a lot of practice for some,
but comes easily to others. in my opinion, it's "easier" to enter
astral through lucid dreaming. keep an eye out for something really
funky that you wouldn't see in real life, like pigs flying, etc in
your dreams and then "wake up" within the dream and change the
scenery at will.

on the other hand, some people don't have vibrations at all, so if
you don't experience them, don't fret. you may be one of those that
blacks out and then wakes up in astral.

remember, no one way is 100% right. what works for others may not
work for you. explore, study, and find your own way that works
perfectly for you.
