several years ago in iowa there was a project which joined an artist,
members of the eastern indian community, mostly from the maharishi
university, dowsers, and a farm family. the artist created a large
golden sri yantra with pinkish rose background. several, 33 or 44
smaller sri yantras of the same design and image were also created.
ceremony went on for three days with the final burial of the large image
in the farm field. the farmer's name was buck and he and his wife were
members of the iowa downer's society for years. earlier they buried a
mandala on their farm, i believe. the smaller sri yantras then went to
various others through out the world to likewise bury with a specific
ritual. there was a month follow up of report of change. it would be
nice to have a 5 year follow up. i buried an original in my back yard
at the lake and have a copy here at the condo.

my interest in the platonic solids as a memory device continues to
grow. as i posted earlier, my cousin made me an octahedron and a
dodechedron out of glass he cut. as i experience the balance of inside
and out in the octahedron, i feel like i'm looking at a multidimensional
sri yantra, or actually sitting within one, such is the symmetry and
balance i feel. my reference to memory is that in being with the object
in a meditative way, i feel, i remember the balance of inner and outer
and the freedom with which that balance is made. the dodechedron
functions more as an antekarana for me, bringing that symbol into the
dream state as i had held and contemplated it. i started working with
these two clear glass figures earlier this summer, before the latest
attempts at conscious awareness of et participation and interest. i
view them as opening the door to this contact from a place of balance
and infinity rather than limitation and fear which was my earlier
experience. so these solids have helped ground me in this process and
given much grace.

one night i went to sleep with one in each hand, and a bag of 12
essential oils from scripture. both cats came and slept on the hand
with the solid and the oils, side by side as close as they could get.
it reminds me of when an animal will come sit underneath the massage
table to get the boost of energy and peace that is happening.

the last note is about the cd "sri yantra," presented at the deepak
chopra, md & david simon md's seminar "the seduction of spirit." the
music on the disc, created by dr. jeffery d. thompson is a translation
into sound of the angles and ratios of the sri yantra.
when i used to teach reiki, i used the sri yantra disc in the background
to help clear the initiates fields as the new frequencies of the reiki
activations took hold. my belief was that it could help clear the
patterns released through the "cleansing" process and the initiate could
then move forward from the new energy rather than from the transitional
shift.

i also used the cd to clear my living space and would often just leave
it running to clear the ethers, so to speak. one night, while i was
still afraid of such things, i was running the cd and i awakened to look
out the window and saw literally millions of star ships of beings in the
sky. it was so dense with points of light that i knew i had not seen
earlier, i felt awe quickly rush into fear, and at that point, i stopped
the process because i was afraid of closer contact with
et/celestial/masters life. how was i to evaluate it. what was from
source and what was from separation. i am farther along that path now.
i began playing sri yantra again last year and look forward to further
explorations of it and of the platonic solids for reconnect to our home
dimensions and states of oneness.
