Hmmm,
I'm a pretty trusting soul, but this site didn't say who was conducting the
test, and on another page of the site, they asked for donations. For those
reasons I didn't take the test. If anyone tried the test, I would be interested
to know what kind of personal information (if any) they asked for. Thanks, Chris

Dear Chaotic Anomaly,
"what is wrong with asking for donations? what kind of corporations should be
asking for that?"
I think that you in your own reply answer your own question - what kind of
corporations should be asking for that?
In other words...
Why should those who wish to help not ask for money?
I've got about a thousand reasons. Want to hear any of them?
Here's one...
What about those who don't have any money - the truly poor.
There's millions of them.
Re-member this...
Jesu and others didn't ask for a thing.
Be Well, BE LOVE.

when you say who, do you mean an academic institution?
Yeh, there was no name of the person or institution or whatever that I could
find. There's nothing wrong with donations, I just like to know who is asking
for them :)Maybe I didn't read far enough? Maybe names are listed but I missed
that? Chris

Chaotic,
Please bear with me while I post a quote from the site, because I went back
and looked thru everything to see who these people are. There are alot of
scams like this everywhere on the internet, and I am not implying that this
is, however, no names, a weird PO box #...intuitively I perk up and say
there is somethin' not quite right here:) Sorry. Here is the first quote:
"What is the Nature of the Scientific Organization responsible for this
site? - We are a group with interest in the probation of psycho-mental
phenomena."
No Name here. Only an email address wwwp to contact. By contacting that
email, of course that address would then have your own private email address
on their address list.
Then on testing:
"How will those tests be performed, how will the results appear and how can
I help? - The tests will be results sent by the mail, chosen randomly from
the samples chosen from the mail. The results will appear in this site, in
due time, after we analyze the percentage of success that the average person
obtains after making the Wish in the site. You can help by sending a
donation by mail to the following address or use the PayPall system of
Internet credit (Donations done by this method will be set for analysis
sooner than others and will receive the wish certificate-bonus). P.O Box
00000-666. In the act of donation you will receive a certificate that you
took part of the research."
Sounds like Poetry.com and they send you all sorts of "You won" stuff, but
you have to pay $$$$$. I am not trying to get you upset Chaotic, just trying
to get us all thinking about urls when they don't tell us who they are. In
Love and Light, Chris

DW: Thanks, Chris and David, for pointing out what I had missed. I had
some questions about this link being posted so I visited the website,
but apparently not in enough detail.
To the man we only know as Chaotic Anomaly, I would humbly suggest that
you not take it personally when I say that we can't make exceptions to
the rule about posting outside links to websites or institutions that
are asking for money. We have practically 600 members now, and the
temptation for effortless, cost-free "target niche marketing" is far,
far too great. If we make even one public exception, then everyone will
feel they have a right to spam our list members.
Peace be with you -
- David
