Shifts: Internalizing verses Externalizing

Hi All,

The recent discourse relating to the statement, "A person who "trusts"
cannot be betrayed -- only mistaken", has had me considering the
psychological concept of internalising verses externalising. Someone who
externalises basically attributes their situation to outside influences, eg.
other selves or circumstances perceived outside their control. Someone who
internalises attributes their situation as a result of self determination,
they look within for answers. It seems to me, that if someone perceives
their trust to be betrayed or mistaken would depend on where they placed it.

Personally I have been grappling with the influence of the
banking/oil/multinational cabals and its impact on society and I am trying
to fit it into the internalising/externalising paradigm. If we externalise
this problem then we associate the worlds plight, with respect to disparity,
to the greed of this negative elite group. On the other hand, if we
internalise the problem, then we accept our part in the greed and deceit as
a mirror for our own behaviour. This may help explain, in part, why
Wanderers often opt out of the system and further why Jesus supposedly lost
his temper with the money lenders. I wonder where ignorance sits in this
paradigm? Sadly many seem to take Orwell seriously and consider it a
strength.

Sal here (with my first reply to a post since joining):

This is an important issue I am pondering in my own life. Even though
I know that all the negativity in the world is a reflection of our
collective issues of separation from Source, and that we must confront
our own "inner terrorists" of judgment and guilt, it is still easy to
fall into the illusion of victimhood. The problem, I feel, has to do
with our over-identification with the body. The cabals (Illuminati,
Reptilians, Orions and the like) prey on our survival consciousness --
by controlling money, industrial production and resources necessary to
sustain the physical body.

I am attempting to minimize my dependence on the system as an interim
step to freedom. Of course, I know true freedom comes when I stop
identifying with my body and negative ego and start identifying with
Spirit. But in the meantime, I've got solar panels and a well and live
in a remote area. I'm not running away from the world, only attempting
to gather my strength and interface with the world from the eyes of
Spirit -- and the heart of Love. I personally experience that love and
judgment are opposites and that as I let go of judgment (of self or
others), my capacity to love goes up.

Whether it's a blessing or a curse, I have received (directly from
higher self or through others) a lot of information regarding the
"dark forces" and their plans for Earth. I feel it is important to be
aware of their presence and agenda, but only so that we may shine our
high-powered lights of truth into the heart of their sorry regime so
that the illusions may be dispelled. I am heartened that so many of my
online friends have similar desires. -- Sal

I've recently been corresponding with a very dear
friend and sister on the List, about something totally
unrelated to this but it sort of came down to 4D
future vs. 3D present. We KNOW that there will be a
world without war, without hate, without disharmony,
and without many of the things that we find so painful
here today. Yet, we have to get there from our
present state, that has all these things. Our bodies
will change, our mental and spiritual capacities will
change to fit the new 4D world that is birthing right
now, but will it happen overnight?

No. Those of Ra said that it took around a generation
and a half to make the transition from 2D life forms
to suitable 3D life forms, with a bit of "help". I've
read varying estimates of between one hundred and five
hundred years for the changeover from 3D into 4D is
completely done. 100-500 years isn't a long time in
terms of the life of a planet or in terms of a master
cycle, but it's a lifetime certainly, and then some.
Those of us alive today are being transformed by the
space and the planet into something higher, and we
will deal with these new vibrations as best we may.
Some will do better than others. Some will not do
well at all. Others will not be able to handle the
changes. That's just physically, mind you.

The spiritual and mental changes are also happening,
and just as important. They will be dealt with in the
same way: well, not so well, not well at all. Those
of Ra have said that the green ray vibrations have
already destabilized the mentalities of some people,
who are not equipped to handle them, causing insanity
of one variety or another. One might expect this to
increase too, as the transformation moves forward.

How do people deal with such massive changes [and
mind, the earth changes have only just gotten a good
start, and all the destabilization that will occur has
barely begun]? As best they can, in in their own way.
Maybe some of us who are vocationally teach/learners
are here to help sort things out during this
transition, to find a path through the changes and
help those getting lost along the way.

I don't know. I'm supposing that if things get too
out of hand, there will be an MBE and this may alter
the change process a little. Does that mean that any
Wanderers that participate in an MBE will be changed
through it, sort of a deus ex machina event that
"brings them up to speed" [if they need it] so they
can go back and help with the rebuilding? I don't
know. There are many unknowns right now, because
there are always possibility vortices opening and
closing within the fabric of what we call the future.
All we really know is that we are here to serve now,
and if that means fighting fires, rescuing pet cats
from tall trees, grabbing babies from burning houses
and taking them to safety, or watering down roofs to
keep embers from lighting it afire, then that's our
job. Some of us are firemen. Others of us are doctors
and teachers, and priests.

I would like to think that, if the people of the world
were polled first before attacking the world without
war and hatred, that they would vote to leave it alone
or send an embassy to go and study it so we can do it
too. Unhappily, the people that are running the world
right now are not of such a mind. But, this could
change too.

Ah, the question of free will rears up again. We all know the changes
are here and accelerating, but our day to day choices determine to
some extent how long it takes to ascend. The Mayan date of 12/21/2012
and other important dates (2017, 2030, etc.) are catalysts for change,
but apparently they do not supersede free will; they are only windows
of opportunity.

I truly believe that if one puts a lot of energy and passion into
ascension into 4D and 5D, it will happen very quickly. In the past
26,000 years, only a tiny fraction of humanity has ascended. In the
next 8 to 30 years, I expect more of humanity will ascend than in all
of the previous master cycle. This is exciting! In all, I anticipate
maybe 144,000 upwards to 20,000,000 souls will ascend between now and
2050. But the pace and numbers are really a function of free will.
What we focus on we attract. Are we focused on ascension?
