have any evidence to the contrary. so if i don't see it your way, then i must
be an agnostic? my accusation maybe you are faking archangel michael, is
nothing more than simple common sense.(ref, the opposite of gullible blind
faith). it comes down to this, no one can say that archangel michael has any
distinguishing attributes, if those attributes have never been observed in
anything, anywhere and at any time. this is my own conclusion.
fact: the defining attributes of something that does not exist are the
following: it cannot be heard, seen, smelled, tasted, touched, and cannot be
measured.
fact: these are the attributes of archangel michael as determined by actual
(lack of observation or by definition. archangel michael cannot be heard,
seen, smelled, tasted, touched, and cannot be measured.
conclusion: archangel michael fits the definition for non-existence
perfectly. how in the word can someone come to "know" something one cannot
physically interact with??? what you cannot interact with, you cannot sense,
you cannot know, you can only imagine! it might surprise you that i believe
archangel michael exists.

perpetuate religion. the bible is the revealed word of god, revealed to the
writers of the bible, which contains the revealed word of god. remember, you
learned this before you learned that tautology was a weak form of argument,
and you learned it from the experts in the bible, which is the revealed word
of god, they must know what they are talking about. they are men of god. they
know the bible. the bible is the gospel truth after all.
if you believe that the bible contains the word of god then you can prove
your point, look! there it is , in the bible! i can give you chapter and
verse, what more proof do you need?
these ideas were firmly in place in my head before i was old enough to use my
own brain for myself.
tell me does your own church have sacraments, and sing songs, oh!, do you

ever since i was a small child i had to see what made everything tick, and
simply could not accept the impossible things i have been told, even by my
own parents. no need to tell me there was no santa. no one could prove to
me that there is an all-loving, all powerful, christian 'god'. -of course
being agnostic means that i am open to all possibilities, but there is quite
a lot of evidence against that one called god, and jesus and the saints, and
all the prophets.
i believe that my soul is responsible for its own condition. faith is a
progressive quality or essence of the soul, and increases as progression of
this divine love in the all that there is father creator increases, and is
not dependent on anything else. i do have faith as it is necessary for the
soul to function.

i don't think i'll ever forget the twelve step programs i tried to follow
when i was spiritually bankrupt. being clean and sober for four and one half
years now, i see they are not at all necessary to follow as a new religion,
and to attend forever. i still wonder why they are only held in church
basements. the thinking of the twelve step programs is that we need a
constant reminder of whatever our problems were for ever and ever eternally,
and remind us at meetings every day.

and there is something wrong if you have to learn truth, as if you can
learn truth by much studying and recitation. we are born with the
ability to know the truth and hold on to the truth of what we see and
are given to know until some one in authority pressures us to doubt
what we know under pressure to conform. they tell us that black is
white and pink is green and when we no longer hold to what we know to
be the truth we surrender and give in to the lie. as for my opinion
on christianity we can debate this to know end.
i will not offer one to your question, though can you learn truth??,
as if someone with a collar on backwards, sticks a bible under your
nose and says stick this in your ear, saying study to show you are
approved of the lord. did the turtle really beat the rabbit??, look
at these animals or look at the story of the boy in the crowd saying
the emperor has no clothes, did it really happen at all??. what is
