i was floored to hear that on the news recently. and what of all the
refunds they're sending out?!?!?

how can a surplus vanish into thin air? all i can say is that what we talk
about all the time is happening and it's happening under most people's
noses.

this is a real hoot.

http://cnnfn.cnn.com/2001/08/30/markets/sunny_markets/

they're trying to act like the only thing that is responsible for the
onrushing downturn in stocks is that people are staying indoors too much and
not getting any sunshine. yet their list for august shows no real
correlation whatsoever between ups and downs and the weather.

it really shows how stupid they think people are - this is looking more
orwellian all the time. if it were me, i would be more paranoid to see
articles like this come out instead of less. i think they're very, very
scared about losing their massive profit game and wish that the common
person would still feed them. also there has been no coverage about how
precarious the situation really is - and when they say that the "surplus"
suddenly "vanished" they expect everyone just to keep on watching tv and
forget about it - though i had a dream that indicated that many "ordinary"
people were angered by that.

this is a direct quote:

"wall street's been on edge lately. economic reports are grim. stocks rise
one minute only to crash and burn the next. it happens in the blink of a
talking head's eye, delivering yet another doomsday prophecy.

ignore it all."

i'm not even kidding - go read it yourself.

furthermore they don't call the middle east situation a war, even though
that's what it is - they call it "the struggle for peace." and they're still
acting as though arafat has control over what the palestinians do or don't
do.

interesting to watch all of this unfold. i'm still saving the "i told you
so" rights for further in the future.

peace be with you -
