Seek Up
11-06-2003, 10:11 PM
Hey Asc2k discussion group,
I just seen that there Matrix Revolutions that?s on everybody?s mind. In a
fervor of excitement, because I actually understood a deeper meaning!, I typed
up what I understand of just SOME of the story the metaphors seem to be telling.
Normally, writing like this wouldn?t make it past the judge with the
perfectionist?s eye inside me, but I?m too excited about all of this tonight? so
disclaimer: it?s sloppy, crude and not written well ? disjointed, lots of dots,
incomplete sentences and thoughts? but, the gist is still there and it is a
testament to the ability of any plain of idiot to grasp higher meaning from a
movie many might not see that in : )
ALSO: This contains spoilers for those who haven?t seen the third installment.
There are SO many more elements that tie into this I don?t understand and will
leave for the greater minds out there. Here?s my personal take, put into the
terms that I know and love best - the Law of One.
In the first Matrix, Neo has this nudge telling him inside that there is much
more than he sees and knows... he is searching, but he knows not for what... as
the statement goes, ?Those who seek, shall find.? Seek he does and find he soon
will.
When Trinity is impossibly speaking to Neo on his computer screen and predicts
the white rabbit, he is introduced to mystery. Something that is should not be
happening it is so beyond the logics of his known reality. (The agenda of the
positively oriented UFO?s that interact with us on Earth: to open up the
sleeper?s eyes to the concept of mystery, thus creating a desire to seek.) As
some people either initiate the seeking process after having their first UFO
experience, or others bury it as something logically explained or a hoax or some
reason to deny themselves the fact that reality is more than that had previously
assumed ? Neo chooses to follow the mystery of this white rabbit.
Neo meets Morpheus and gets that peek through the ?hole in the curtain?.
QUESTIONER: ? I have the impression that in the near future the seeking will
increase by many who now are incarnate in the physical on this planet. Their
seeking will increase because they will become more aware of the creation as it
is and as it is opposed, I might say, to the creation of man. Their orientation
and their thinking will be, by catalyst of a unique nature, reoriented to
thinking of more basic concepts, shall I say. Is this correct?
RA: I am Ra. The generalities of expression can never be completely correct.
However, we may note that when faced with a hole in the curtain, an entity?s
eyes may well peer for the first time through the window beyond. This tendency
is probable given the possibility/probability vortices active within your
space/time and time/space continua at this nexus.
Probability was on Neo?s side and his seeking did increase, taking a blind leap
of faith where
Q?uo, ??.the soul within is free to take that which this instrument calls the
leap of faith, where the meaning and the sense of life, in the metaphysical way
of looking at it, BEGINS only when that leap into midair is taken.?
Morpheus offers him no proof but only a pill. He takes the red pill and is
initiated into a greater truth than the one he knew... he awakens from the
Matrix and he realizes his first truth... that iiss, the state of affairs of the
world... from the vantage point of the ?real? world, he can see what few others
can, that all of humanity is locked into a prison whose walls they can not
see... living life not conscious, disempowered and, without the peoples?
knowledge, being run by their own shadow side, i.e., the machines... Never
knowing that there is something more, never seeking out that something more...
but for those who do seek those greater answers, there are those who will
support that effort, outside the box...
He begins his own Hero?s Journey and sees the blindness of Earth's inhabitants,
and awakens to see one perspective of the affairs of 3rd density... a world
where the people have separated themselves from the Creator and turned their
backs to the One? symbolized by the scorched sky. Like slaves, they are
dominated by machines (their own shadow side). Believing that, while locked
within the Matrix, they have the free will to choose their own fate. Although
they do possess some degree of will and choice, their choices are all made
within and contained by the invisible box, or cage, set in place by the negative
or shadow side - again, the machines. Choices made just as the sleepers make
them, to remain comfortably asleep and avoidant of suffering.
The darkened sky can also be likened unto Ra?s description of third density as
that of the work done with a tiny candle in darkness? the ?real? world which can
be seen, that Neo awakens to, is indeed what you might call dark? In more ways
than one.
ESPECIALLY a third density world such as ours, where, through the Law of
Confusion, we have shunned the Creator ? as the Wachowski?s put it: scorched the
sky, blocking the source of light, the sun, the Logos. Which they did in order
to *fight* the shadow side. However, instead of cutting off the shadow?s energy
like they intended to, they only cut their own power and enabled the machines to
enslave them, falling further from grace and falling deeply under the shadow,
giving over their true power to choose?
You might also see the attempt to kill off the machines by scorching the sky as
a denial of the negative side, another act of resisting? which, as I?ve heard,
only causes what you?re resisting, to persist.
Neo walks through his own series of realizations in the first, second, and third
movies? growing with each progressive step. Never seeing the entire outline but
knowing what he must do as he faces each new moment. He meets with people like
the Oracle, Serif, and the Architect ? all of whom are symbols of concepts that
I have too little understanding to weave into my own Matrix-gist here. Though I
suspect the Architect was destiny and the Oracle ? free will ? Maybe the balance
between the known and the unknown? or chaos vs. order? that?s for y?all to
figure out : )
Neo?s greatest realization, in my mind, is when he opens his heart, making his
first transcendence of the ?reality? of the Matrix and seeing it for the
illusion that it is ? the green binary numbers and such - when he knows he loves
Trinity and is saved from his first death in the matrix?
The Matrix and the ?real? world all seem to be dealing in the energies of the
lower three centers? Evidence to support this thought I gathered from the
celebrations that the inhabitants of Zion have in the second movie when they
temporarily defeat the shadow. They are all partying to techno in those
underground, muddy caverns? not that techno can?t induce blissful states, I
suppose it can : ), but it?s not the most representative of the musical genres
for the beauty of life, the passion to live, the true celebration of the spirit
of man? seems more engaging in the lower chakras of the more base desires?
dunno?
In Matrix Revolutions, it is officially stated that Agent Smith is Neo, only his
shadow side. The light has shown both on Neo and Agent Smith, both have awakened
to a greater reality, but they are split and have seen that light in terms of
their own polarity. They both realized ?the Choice?. Neo chose STO, Smith chose
STS. Smith does not recognize free will, calls himself to conquest and is
thoroughly disgusted and sickened by the world and wants to enforce and spread
his own STS version of life, onto others, with him at the peak of power? we will
say that he spreads his STS teachings by replicating ? making more of himself?.
Disempowering others and taking their free will?
Neo, seeks not to control or manipulate but seeks his own purpose which he
doesn?t realize until the very last moment, when it all comes together? he has
sought that purpose in an STO fashion but was not realizing what is truly was as
long as he was engaged in combat with what truly seemed to be a threat - his
very own shadow side? Their interaction is definitely the saga of polarity? For
Neo?s progress along his chosen path to be made, he must integrate that shadow.
For Smith?s progress, he must dominate and snuff out that light. Ultimately, one
side of the Creator is bound to ?fail? and has an inevitable end in integration.
SO, Matrix 3. After a talk with the Oracle who tells Neo that either he or Agent
Smith will resolve this issue by midnight, and after considerable contemplation
and meditation, Neo knows that in order to ?save? the world, he must once and
for all, face his shadow side personified by Agent Smith. In his mind at this
point, ?facing? Agent Smith means battling. Some of his ?peers? believe in him,
some think he?s an utter fool.
Neo goes to face him and the battle ensues? the fight rages for a good ten
minutes I?d say? in it, they seem equally matched, a couple moments Neo seems
like he might get the upper hand but in truth, Agent Smith is winning the harder
Neo resists and continues the fight?
In that final battle, Agent Smith, all irritated, asks Neo WHY he persists when
the odds are evidently against Neo?s victory? Smith asks him what he is doing it
for - for love, hope, saving the world? What? And Neo gives the sweetest answer
and says, ?Because I choose to?. IMHO, returning to the first distortion and the
?I Am?.
And the crowning moment comes. Neo knows what he must do. Neo realizes the
futility of fighting the shadow portion of Oneness and he tells Agent Smith
something like, ?You are right, you are always right.? and gives up the
resistance, faces Smith (Neo?s shadow), releases fear of his own annihilation
and that of the ?real? world?s, SURRENDERS, and is momentarily taken over by
Smith.
The new Agent Smith, standing there looking at the confused Smith who just ?won?
the fight, begins to crack and light pours forth from within and out of his
illusory form, which doesn?t hold up to that light and shatters. The true,
integrated light of the One shines through. Neo has transcended the world, he
has become Christed. As is plain to see with the multiple images of crosses of
light on screen.
Thus, the world is ?saved?? but only for the time being? afterwards, the Oracle
and the Architect meet and the Architect asks the Oracle if this new peace
between machine and man will hold, and I think the Oracle says,? I hope.? (could
be wrong here) The oracle then asks about those that WANT to leave the Matrix,
to which the Architect says, ?yes, they will be freed.?
My analysis: They will be freed BECAUSE Neo has shown the way for those who want
it? Christ is the light of the world. Those who want to be freed now have that
road available to them in the example set forth by Neo. Love. Christ
Consciousness.
I don?t think peace could be sustained in a world where there is combat between
the dualities? without their integration and the will to choose to integrate and
seek freedom, they will forever be locked in cycles of combat? and more Christs
will come to show the way? as the Oracle, speaking to the small child in the
last scene, says we haven?t seen the last of Neo.
Good flick. Love you all. Goodnight.

On a kind of related note, a Q?uote:
?The concept of the Christ was this: that intelligent infinity, as experienced
by the Logos and with the bias of the Logos, would enter a third-density
experience, not erasing the one known as Jesus? personality or being, but coming
into the closest possible harmony with that being. There needed to be one who
wished to sacrifice an incarnation to the ever-increasing pleasure and agony of
the Creator, experiencing what this instrument would call the slings and arrows
of outrageous fortune, for it is the nature of the Christ and the nature of
third density that the two, perceiving each other, should react-the third
density with a lack of understanding and the Christ with wonder, joy and
sacrifice. Such is the sorrow of your illusion and the joy of sensation and
communion.?
