><tt>so i totally don't want to offend anyone here, but to me this is "postcard channeling" - it reads like a speculative email conversation between two new agers. there are interesting ideas, but they are ideas, not necessarily realities! in my opinion, you can't get accurate data if you understand what you are saying, or even what the questions are that you are being asked. it is extremely, extremely difficult, requires an intense amount of skill and practice, and most people never even get past the very early stages because they don't want to create dream voice gobbledygook - they want it to read well from the get-go and they are afraid of "messing up" so they edit and proofread every word as it comes through. !buzzz! wrong! </tt>

><tt>i think the only reason why i did so well with my own stuff was that i went into it with a scientific detachment, never expecting that anyone else would read it but me and not caring whether any of it made sense. there was no desire to pat myself on the back or to get popular... and the words didn't exactly tell me what i wanted to hear! to get the ego out of the way here is a very big deal for many people on a variety of levels. to do good channeling you literally have to surrender yourself to the divine contact that is coming through and not get hung up in lower astral realms. it is possible, but you are actually causing yourself harm if you try to put information out there and claim that it is from a high entity if / when you have any doubts in the veracity of your own data and / or its collection methods.</tt>

><tt>i've got so much work to do here... but i'll just hit two points. first off, the face image isabsolutely not that of the visitors themselves - it is an image of our martian ancestors, their way of saying, "you've wanted it so bad, now we'll show you exactly what the face on mars originally looked like before all that erosion." (see hoagland's latest post on artbell.com for the rendering on the face by gary val tenuta.) second of all, i think that when asked about the light wave / vibrational component of dna there could be a whale of a lot more said than what was said in the second example. i'm about to have an article come out in spirit of maat magazine, and all of you should be able to read it. </tt>

channelings - that to me might seems interesting additional
information from ets. (i have seen much less "serious" material
around). but we are all free (and thanks for that) to use our own

[david wilcock]no, keep your head, and we all value your participation on this list. if we couldn't discuss these things freely then there would be no free will and we'd be breaking the biggest universal law.it is sad, frankly, that so many people ask my opinions of internet channelers and that so often the flawsof the material are apparent. it has caused seriousdamage to thekind of scientific work that i write about in books like convergence iii, which is why i made a specific statementabout it. outside of our own circles here, all it takes is a skeptic to read one or two "postcard channelings" and they'll never want to believe anything that anyone does. quite a shame when you consider how incredible it can be when in thehands of a properly-trained initiate.</tt>
