electric shock victim 'on permanent high'
a northamptonshire man says he feels more alive than ever after
suffering an electric shock as he sat on the toilet.
thomas marshall, from corby, got the shock after leaving two live
wires uncovered while he installed a fitting for an electric razor.
the 27-year-old says that, since the accident, he has never felt so
alert. he says he suffered the shock as soon as he sat on the toilet.
he says: "i had just sat down on the lavatory when suddenly there was
a blinding flash and unbelievable pain in my arm as my hand
accidentally brushed against the wire.
"i shot in the air and i realise i was lucky to survive. but ever
since then i have felt rejuvenated.
"i can work out mental arithmetic really quickly and my brain is
really alert. it's like i've been rejuvenated with the electric shock.
"i'm on top of the world. it's like i'm on a permanent high," he told
the northamptonshire evening telegraph.
