Well, my days with the sinking ship otherwise known as MCI/Worldcom will
probably be coming to an abrupt ending tomorrow...I've made it through about
30 rounds of layoffs over the last two years, but the company is crumbling
and 5000 more of us are supposed to get the axe tomorrow. I dont really
see a possibility of me not getting cut, since all of my group's projects
were cancelled earlier this week.

I snagged some breakfast at Burger King this morning (I know...it's bad) and
my total
was $3.33 then a few minutes later on the way to work my truck hit 144,000
miles at
10:01am. So I'm guessing that's a sign.

I'll hopefully resubscribe to this list from my home acct...I've been on
here almost since the beginning, but have been pretty quiet lately.

My truck is paid off and I am 100% debt-free, and we moved far out of town
to have
cheap rent, so we should be able to weather these rough financial times.

Later, Brian

DW: If it looks like a duck...

DW: No guesswork needed. The Higher Self has to do exquisite planning to
set up such synchs and they are worthy of your respect. I have received
some very valuable information through such pivotal means. You can eat
whatever you want to eat, with the caveat that such foods inoculate
every cell of your body with torsion-field inhibitors, cutting off the
energy for physical health as well as for the vibrational increase.
Hence, healthy eating is ultimately a question of self-respect on one's
process of Ascension. Along with dreaming, Ra said that "the disciplines
of the body" were extremely important in reducing one's own distortions.

DW: You don't need to resubscribe. Just go into your member section on
Yahoo and assign yourself the home account as the primary / default
email account. I just had to go through this after getting on DSL here.
It may take more than one pass to do it properly - you have to make sure
that once it takes the new email addy, you set it up as the default /
primary address. Otherwise you will not be able to post from your
computer's email.

>My truck is paid off and I am 100% debt-free, and we moved far out of

financial times.

DW: It sounds like the skills that would be necessary for such a job,
considering that you made it through that many layoffs, still make you
quite employable, if you think diversely and get yourself out of a tiny
niche. Think about your skills in terms of as many different
applications that there are for what you have done, on a broad-based
level. That way you can tailor your experience to the next career choice
instead of having your previous career choice dictate where you will
"have to" go next. Many people do not think multidimensionally enough
about the nature of their previous experience. If you have the
confidence to establish how your experience qualifies you for the next
job you seek after, and believe in yourself, you should have no problem.
The one thing you really do not want to project is desperation. They
will be hiring the person who they want to work with, not the person who
is necessarily the most perfectly qualified.

Peace be with you -

- David

Dear Brian and all others between jobs or looking at that-

Just a note to say, hang in there and keep a good heart. So often, something
like a lay off that seems a total inconvenience, if not a disaster, is
prelude to something way better. Gary Bean's hoping for that to be true
right now, also, and for myself, it has been a while between the counseling
and channeling I offer. However, it has proven to be the perfect timing for,
as David has been saying, working on our little Magic Kingdom home, which
begins to shape up nicely. Labels are going on newly-organized library
shelves, old transcripts are being catalogued and stored, and meanwhile, the
yard sale stash is exploding out of the garage. Good thing we are coming up
on 9-13!

The simple truth is, we are protected in unseen ways. Our part is to paddle
like crazy (the old swan on lake thing- they look so serene, and glide so
smoothly, but... beneath the surface of the lake, it's paddle, paddle and
paddle! So do the work involved in job-leaving, job-hunting and of course,
job visualization, calling to yourself right livelihood. And then let the
swan part of you out, and glide, and fluff your pretty feathers, and enjoy
the glories of the late summer days and the Mars and stars-strewn nights.
And hug that catalyst with much affection. Life, here we come! Sure, it's an
illusion, but such an informative one. as I always say, have fun with this!
I will keep a thought for ya, Brian. Much L/L- wol
