Hello everyone. My name is Artie Thomas. I have been in this
group for a little while. I am, however, introducing myself for the
very first time. David Wilcock suggested that I join this group.
David & I were roommates in college. He has been a support to me as
I have finally broken away from "organized religion" to begin to
become a student of The Law of One. I would like to take this
opportunity to thank everyone who contributes to this group. I have
learned so much in such a short amount of time.
Like us all, I have had some struggles in my life. I lost my
mom to suicide when I was only 7 years old. My dad died from a
heart attack when I was 10.
I have always been a "spiritual" person. As a child I asked my
parents to bring me to church. From early childhood to the age of
20 I was a devout Roman Catholic. Then I became a "Born- Again"
Christian. When I left this church a few months ago, all my friends
who attend that church cut off all ties with me, saying that I
was "backslidden."
Being a part of this group has been a tremendous blessing to
me. Not only have I learned a lot from the group postings but I now
feel that I belong to a group that will accept me. I know that my
friendship with David & being his roommate in college was meant to
be. I wouldn't be a part of this wonderful group if it wasn't for
him. Thanks again everyone for helping to contribute to my life.
Peace & Love,
Artie
