thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. it is certainly
obvious that plagiarism is a criminal and moral offense, so naturally as
soon as you became aware of what had occurred, you contacted us. i thank
you for that, as this event has triggered large debates on my discussion
group about whether plagiarism is spiritually sound or not, with some
people acting as if i should just leave all of my research work exposed
for word-for-word prostitution and profit at the hands of others. one
even suggested that once i grasp the "law of allowing" i will evolve to
the point where such events are not seen as problematic. however, i
consider it to be a very clear and unambiguous case of infringement on
the rights and dignity of another, no different from pick-pocketing.
obviously, as you indicated in your email, in this case you had no idea
that the words had been stolen, and you simply posted it for its
intrinsic value. hence the issues are very clear, and i thank you for
your quick response.
i have had tremendous problems with the plagiarism of one particular
article that i put on the internet, which was originally entitled "a
scientific blueprint for ascension." obviously this has to do with the
incredible qualities of the information that is presented in a
relatively concise, bulleted fashion. it became widely distributed and
stolen as a means of directly supporting the hypothesis that these
changes have been produced by an imminent, incoming "planet x," as i am
sure you are aware. the obvious flaws of this theory could lead to my
work being discredited if the leaks are not plugged, so again - thank
you for your help.
undoubtedly others have encountered dr. dmitriev's material and written
about it. compiling others' research is certainly not plagiarism.
however, this work encompasses research well beyond that of "russian"
physicists, such as in the case of dr. mike lockwood's findings
regarding the 230-percent increase in solar output. so, when a
particular series of data points are compiled in a specific order, one
who would implement such a list is obligated to credit the original
source. in this case, the article itself is practically a word-for-word
theft of the original text in many places, as can be seen by comparing
it to the source article, linked below. furthermore, this information
also falls under the copyrights of the 501c3 charter for the time of
global shift multimedia seminar tour, of which i was research director
from 2000-2002, during which time i performed five seminars across
america. the information is often identical to that which i shared in
section one of the friday night presentation, which has been
video-documented since april 2001.
the other key point with regards to plagiarism is that when such an
article stands in a solitary fashion, interested readers are not given
the opportunity to consult a truly vast body of supportive material that
contextualizes all of the data and gives a far broader picture of what
is behind it. there is no direct profit made by my distribution of free
books online, so the key issue is one of integrity and service to the
readers and to the author.
truly i have been quite disappointed by the number of people who think
that plagiarism is not a problem and that i am in some way committing an
offense for addressing this matter. in my mind it shouldn't even be a
question for debate. perhaps because of the metaphysical nature of my
work, it is felt that the laws of our third-density world should not
matter for me - that i should allow anyone and everyone to steal any
aspect of my writings, make huge profits off of it (as in the case of
the planet x videotape and all the associated art bell appearances) and
never raise a fuss. i disagree. i guess you can tell that this has been
a very hot issue. remember that i am not faulting you in the least - now
you know and you have acted quickly - i am writing this more for closure
to the whole issue on the list.
anyway, this original article was released in september 2001, just days
before the sept. 11th attacks, interestingly enough. here is the link to
