gary: again, don't know how far or near the mark i am
but the root cause of all blockage is the lack of
love. or, not recognizing the creator within all, or
the self within all. aren't suffering and blockage
synonymous? aren't you suffering because of some
distorted view of unity - blockage in your centers of
consciousness and perception of internal and external
self.

kyaybc: "jesus wept." he knew lazurus would rise
again but he suffered anyway.
before he was taken away he experienced agony of a 3d
physical life and the release to a "not my will but
thine be done." state.

i don't think distorted views of unity cause
suffering, some do...some don't...

i guess we need to define suffering, because i think i
may be playing a semantic game...

kyaybc: but there is a ton of suffering in love...that
"terrible"
side...so it ***could be*** all about love love
love...because
choices could be made in love but that doesn't
necessarily mean that
it won't cause suffering (4:44)

joboy: love is the remedy for suffering. the cause of
suffering
usually is karmic &/or a pre-incarnative choice. one
sometimes
perceives that just when it appears one will suffer no
further, a
perhaps (potentially) more painful challenge arises
that causes
suffering. by the law of confusion, one might confuse
the love that
remedied a prior (initiation of) suffering with the
karmic, pre-
incarnative choice that most likely is the "cause".

kyaybc: but the choice made in love could be the
catalyst for suffering...

as all love in 3d is just a distortion of love...and
other's distortions will combine with your distortions
producing the catalyst...

joboy: pardon this reiteration: you/i/we chose options
for suffering
before we enter this material plane.

kyaybc: again maybe we should define suffering,
because we have preincarnative decisions yes...but
alot of teh suffering here tendds to come from
blockages that we have created in this incarnation as
well as others...and suffering to me does not have to
be a bad thing.

hi

the quotation is from the gospel of john 11:35 ... and had nothing to do
with *suffering*, nor had it to do with 'loving' lazarus ...

read the whole chapter [john 11] and you will see why jesus wept .....

jesus was trying to teach *faith* of god/higher power/self .. that if we
only believed, there is nothing we could not do ourselves .....

and the sisters of lazarus [and their friends] did not have that much faith
and wanted him to perform yet another *miracle* ... to prove himself ....

that's why jesus wept .. because as long as he was there they had the
faith, when he was away they returned to ordinary *concrete* reality ... he
was disgusted ...

blessings,

olga
