THANKS ERIK, PAT

REMINDS ME OF MY UPBRINGING:
Guilt is understood as the sole
cause of pain in any form. (p. 571)

MY FRIEND'S OPINION OF ME:
Fantasies are the veil behind
which truth is hidden. (p. 316)

MY OPINION OF THE OCCULT:
The hidden can terrify not for what
it is, but for its hiddenness. (p. 265)

SOUNDS LIKE MY FOUL MARRIAGE:
The holy instant is the recognition that
all minds are in communication. Every
thought you would keep hidden shuts off
communication. (p. 289)

MY CRAPPY SEX LIFE:
What you would hide is
hidden from you. (p. 290)

MY IMPRESSION OF A GREAT MEDITATION:
Let yourself be one with something
beyond it. (p. 361)

ANOTHER INSIGHT I LIKE:
Seek not to change the world,
but choose to change your mind
about the world. (p. 415)

MONEY WISDOM I LIKE:
It is never the idol that you want,
but what you think it offers you.
(p. 587)

REMINDS ME OF PENTACOSTLE'S "SPEAKING IN TONGUES":
The ego always seeks to divide and separate.
The Holy Spirit always seeks to unify and heal. (p. 110)

There is a classic book
"Nine O'Clock In The Morning"
by Dennis J. Bennett,
that talks about the
Holy Spirit's relationship
with the phenomena,
"Speaking in Tongues" in
relationship to the
Bible and Christianity.

My impression is that there
are various skill levels
related to this, maybe on
the top there are the
undistorted channelers.

Importantly, this is a bridge
that softens cultural barriers,
(just thought I'd emphasize that
in case you missed it.)
