Hi group,

found this link about the decreasing magnetic field strength

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/2889127.stm
<http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/2889127.stm>

excerpt from new article is....

Whatever happens will not happen quickly. It will take thousands of years
and there is no evidence that when it has happened in the past it has
seriously affected life on Earth.

can someone help me on this one...as the time of the shift is near in the
next few years why does
current science seem to imply it will take another
thousand years before the field fails to protect us?

Does the magnetic field strength of the earth collapse
suddenly and quickly as we approach 2012?
Like a phi spiral?

Thanks
Michael

I would say I think so, and here's why I think this.

To be honest with you, I don't think current science knows what will
happen, they have only speculated. This article itself sums up what
has been happening. I live in the Western Canada, and I can notice a
difference even in my lifetime. In my youth I recall that Magnetic
north was to the west of true north, now its to the east. From my
current location its by several degrees.

It is my suspicion that when the sun's magentic field flipped
polarity during the last solar maximum, it started to create constant
pressure to flip Earth's field. This will accelerate the process
with respect to the earth's field. As we will see an increase in the
sun's magentic field for the next little while we will see further
weakening of the earth's to the point where it will reverse, sometime
between now and the next peak in Solar activity. That occurs in
2012.

The magnetic pole is the true axis of the Inner Core of the earth.
The fact that it is moving WRT to axis of the surface is evidence
that 'slippage' between the molten core and the solid crust is infact
occuring. This in my mind is the prelude to the avalanche of the
crust that was predicted by some a few years back.

If this is correct, now the interesting thing about this whole
process is that the beginning of the end, the start of the whole pole
shift process has already started, that occured two years ago in
2000/2001!

Such action would perhaps explain some of the predictions.
