This post has no relevance to anything in particular.
I had a dream about a month ago that bothered me to an extreme. In my
dream I was watching television. I heard an explosion and saw an
intense light. My sliding glass door burst open and I was engulfed by
a shockwave that threw me across my living room. Within minutes there
were Firemen in gas masks walking through my house. They looked me
over and concluded that I was beyond rescue. I looked down at my body
and saw that most of my skin was missing or grossly blistered and
peeling off. I felt fine, and pleaded with them to help me...they
told me I would be dead soon regardless of treatment. I got up to
follow them and saw through my front door the bodies of my neighbors
tossed into the parking lot, all burned and wretched half-corpses.
They had been blown clear out of their homes with all their furniture
and belongings scattered across their yards.
And then I woke up. And damnit was happy to be laying in bed with my
skin intact.
