Dear Friends,

If someone doesn't know what's best for one's self how in the world can one know
what's best for another? In every situation one must look at things from a
viewpoint of "What's best for me." This may seem rather self indulgent, but when
we fulfill our own basic needs we are more likely to be able to fulfill the
needs of others, not the opposite. We can "pretend" that we are sending "Love
and Light" to others, yet when we look deep down what do we see?

There's nothing wrong with being STS, it's a very important part of Who We Are.
If we Don't know Who We Are how in the heck can we know who others are? And how
can we help them to be Who They Are?

It all goes hand in hand...

We Love You.

David

J: All that we do this illusion where we exist is restricted to the
status of "pretend" & never can be real. Ironically, what we see when
we look deep down is unique; and yet, it is All the same.

David,

Thanks for posting. This helps clarify a paradox of STS vs. STO. From
your post, I gather STS looks at doing in terms of "what's best for
me as a beginning point of fulfilling the needs of others. STO, as I
understand it, looks at doing "what's best for others" as a beginning
point of fulfilling the needs of self. IMO, this explains why Ra says
that intention, not outcome, is a determining factor with regard to
STO. My first thought is either of the benefit to me or the benefit
to others. If the benefit to others seems detrimental to my self, STO
needs faith in the Love of the Creator in order to set aside anxiety
and fear and have the will to go forth.

Peace & Love, John
