Jesus said not to take the kingdom of heaven by force. Basically, what he was saying here was to find the kingdom naturally and through meditation instead of using mind alteing drugs to get you there. We have a responsiblity to keep the living temple ( Human Body) healthy. In order to ascend, we must work on the Body, mind and spirit. All 3 are important. Everything we consume, whether it be mind altering drugs, food or the air we breath, all has an impact on the chakra system and endocrine system.

>John Carlo, et alia,
>First, you have taken Jesus' words out of context. He was NOT making a pronouncement about pot.
>Second, pot IS natural. It's a herb! (So were the mushrooms natural that were part of the sacred Egyptian temple rites). And, I would submit, that rather than mind altering, it is mind opening, and expanding. And isn't that the objective of what you call meditation?
>Third, you have a very narrow view of what meditation is. Must it be done seated, crossed-legged, and deep in silence? Or may it be done in a much wider context? From an ascended point of view, EVERY act can be done in a state of meditation and can therefore be a key to the kingdom, and not an act of force. The famous Tibetan Monk Milarepa once said, "I have meditated for so long that I have forgotten how to meditate," meaning that, for him there was no longer any difference between meditating and any other actions.
>The problem with so much of the conversation, here and elsewhere, about The Ascension, is that there are too many people trying to codify the "how to" of it. You must eat this, drink that, read such and such, and be sure that you are 50+% in STO. All so much bull ****. The only path to Ascension is to live it...NOW...putting it off to some future date is illusion. If recognizing one's responsibility to live, in this moment, as though you are the "Godling" that you say you are, if through touching the stream of consciousness that is all there is, if KNOWING that you are already ascended, ...if any of that is enhanced by yogic meditation, Dervish dancing, fasting in the desert, OR smoking a bowl, bring it on!
>Sanctimonious diatribes and lists of "shoulds and should nots" wont cut it. At least not with me.

"Ordinary" people can be very extremely self-serving and for them, a little kindness and compassion can be quite a difficult road to follow. All that we have ever been discussing here is something that is solely related to the vibrational level that you have attained at the time the vortex opens. Like a thermometer, it goes up and it goes down. Providing that we're inclined on the positive path, everything we think, say and do in our lives will do one of three things... make it higher, make it lower or make it unchanged. So please respect the fact that people can ask me questions, get the answers and not be judged.

Dear Johnny boy,

I gave my opinion and if you do not like it then don't read my
posts. We all cannot agree. That is what makes the world so colorful,
don't you think? Keep on smoking your weed. I will meditate.

The big problem with drugs is that it opens up the chakras and you
might not be ready yet for any particular chakra to open based on your
evolution. LSD, pot etc. etc. etc. are mind altering drugs that can do
more harm then good if you are not ready for those levels of
consciousness. Meditation will never harm you becuase you are working
with your own light patterns and the god within will only give you what
you need at any given moment. God will not rush you to the Pineal gland
if you are not ready. Drugs have no patience. They drive you up the
spine whether you are a good person or a jackass. IF you are a jackass,
then you will find that higher states of being will hurt you and hurt
others in your path...... John Carlo

>- Right... all paths of experience are valid. For me, I was obviously intended beforehand to use marijuana, having been born into a family where it was used. I also know that I had no real concept of what a trance state or ecstatic state could really be like before then, because my life was fairly miserable, and I was unpopular and overweight. I have stated before that all this was due to my extreme alienation of being a Wanderer. I can say that marijuana use did help me to regain something I had lost; the idea that I could actually enjoy my life. This is the self-medicating aspect of its use. In my case I realized over time that my 'grand experiment in consciousness' had become a prison. I can honestly say that it took me, in my case, about three additional years before I could start finding my way back into those pathways of the mind, but I strongly encourage people to work the dreamwork/meditation discipline for that.
