View Full Version : Cleaning the Filter
Hi All, again!
Does anyone have any recommended practices for detoxifying your
system? My filter is dirty and needs cleansing! I can feel, the
weight of the trash and the toxins in my body.
I'm practicing a vegetarian lifestyle (which, to date, still includes
fish), but continue to smoke cigarettes and pot on occasion. Both of
which I'm ready to put aside. I want to completely detox...and I
know what a task this can be! Any pointers would be greatly
appreciated!!!

Hi Rosi,
If you want to clean your system of thc then I can recommend the following
regime which I used to get clean in 21 days for medical tests. The thc
loves to be bound to fat molecules in your body and depending on how much
you smoke / and body fat will decide how much thc you have laid down in
the fatty tissue.
Please heed the advice of David regarding dietary regimes as these
are personal to the individual and specific to your physiology, so take
advice from the experts.
This regime worked for me but may not work for you.
The first thing is daily exercise which will get those fat cells moving,
no offence we all have them :) (im used to my girl saying 'does my bum
look big in this' all the time LOL)
I ride my bike for about an hour a day, hard riding though, swimming
is good for whole body exercise and good for aerobic strength to, also
I took a course of 1200 mg soya lecithin and 500 mg of yeast free vitamin
B5 or Pantothenic acid for 30 days which helps remove the free fat cells
which have thc bound to them. This will help get rid of most if not
all free thc in your system. After 21 days I tested negative. If
you are a long term smoker then the deeply laid down stuff will take much
longer to come out of your system, I have heard 9 months or more to be
completely free although it will still be in you hair I think, depending
on growth rate. Along with this I did not eat any saturated fats
at all, just olive oil, drank beetroot juice made with a proper juicing
machine along with other de-toxifying vegetables and drank Jasmine green
tea every evening after all food was consumed. I have learnt much
about the beneficial herb and how to use it correctly as our ancestors
did, I was a toxicologist for 2 years and have biological knowledge on
a molecular level of toxicity in the human body, so along with a proper
diet and exercise regime, IMPO it's fine in moderation. Whilst I agree
with a lot of what David says on the subject, regarding the mental aspects,
this is a matter of personal strength, weak or addictive personalities
can easily have a nightmare of physical addiction. I have helped
a couple of friends come off class A drugs and believe me it's not a pretty
sight. The distinction to make is that thc is not physically addictive
but is psychologically. So you can stop and you wont die of the effects
of removing it from your body, you might be a bit sad for a while that's
all, I have done this many times. I believe that you need to
adopt the correct spiritual and mental attitude to be able to treat any
herb as a tool to be employed in the correct way and situation. It's
not about getting stoned out of your head on anything, that benefits no
one. Although it's nice to have a LIFE :) and have a bottle of wine
with friends over dinner to oil the social and conversational interaction,
and to allow you to smile once in a while. Having said that more
people die of tobacco and drink related illness every year. No one
ever died from smoking herb. It isn't about availability either,
because I am sure we all know that you can get what you want anywhere,
it's just that people abuse themselves as a means of escape which is not
the answer.
Shamans have taken extremely toxic concoctions all over the world since
time began which would kill a person from modern society, and these are
real toxins to the body and invariably induce an instant and extreme purging
of the system, I have made a study of most in detail, but have never been
inspired or believed I was ready to attempt taking them. The 'self
poisoning' for want of a better term is usually deeply embedded in spiritual
beliefs and rituals, demanding deep inner strength and wisdom in the undertaking
usually travelling to the spirit world. Carlos Castanada books make
interesting reading, particularly The Teachings Of Don Juan: The Yaqui
Way Of Knowledge where he undertook a 5 year spiritual journey under
strict direction and supervision using plants as tools of enlightenment.
The herb is and has been used for enlightenment, spiritual discovery,
health benefits and meditation purposes by monks and seekers from all over
the world for thousands of years, I feel that with proper management and
responsibility there is no need to completely stop smoking the herb.
If anyone wants to be completely de-toxified then they must leave this
planet and go live somewhere else. You breathe in some of the most deadly
gasses known to man, whilst walking down the street these days and most
of our food and water is contaminated in some way, even some organic produce
is dubious. Cuba has a very good organic food supply, but they still use
old 50's gas guzzlers, so the non practical solution is to go live on a
mountain top and get your food from Cuba and never go near a city :), we
do the best we can is the answer.
I do not in any way advocate the taking of any drugs or illegal substances,
I think this is a matter of personal and individual freedom of choice.
The big question that people contemplating such an undertaking is WHY am
I putting this in my body, can you justify that with your self .
Like David's diet, it has a specific purpose and well done to you David
for having the responsibility for taking control of your health and well
being. The body is a temple, make sure you understand it needs food
and water like bricks and mortar, and make sure it has a purpose, like
we all need a path in life to follow, and most of all don't forget to go
there and pray or meditate regularly or it becomes full of dust and crumbles.
How you do that praying or meditation and the tools you employ are
the keys to your own personal wisdom and growth toward the inner light.
I hope this helps Rosi from my personal take on what you are attempting.
I wish you Love and Light in your quest however you decide to proceed.
Nemaste
Christian.

Hello Rosi and all members of asc2k,
I have been a member of the group for a few months but
until now haven't responded to any post, primarily due
to time constraints. I live in Virgnia Beach, VA. and
have been reading CIII, RA , Shift of the Ages and
other interesting information that is presented to the
group. In reference to your question Rosi check out
the site:
http://www.holistichealthcenters.com
You will find what you need there, they even have a
radio station that offers helpful holistic health
information. Good health starts with inner cleansing.
Happy Independence Day to all,
Bonnie
