mentioned it and I went and read their site..A lot of interesting
thoughts to ponder there..Here is what I was referring to in my post..

Okay I got another thought that has been taking up space in my brain
recently..

Marijuana~ what is the groups thoughts on smoking the "Holy Plant"-as
described by Muhhamd(sp?), a Muslim Prophet..

I smoke Mari J, eat unhealthy, drink coffee, I will quit all of these if
my higher self decides so, but for now I will take it one step at a
time..

Now for as smoking marijuana, I don't think it is a bad herb, just
misunderstood by the U.S Government..
When I mediatate I like to drink from my bowl and it unwraps all my egos
and worries/fears from everyday life...
I have smoked since I was 16 *does a little math* 14 years I have smoked
it but I don't care for drinking and I know from my sister that crack is
not good..I see her everyday and I can't believe this is the same person
I knew just 5 years ago..


I am not suggestion anyone go smoke any, but I have read it was used in
ancient times, and still is except in the US, for Priests to try and
reach God/One..

How can alcohol be legal but yet a plant from the earth be unlegal..I am
filled with
love, peace, and one with myself when I am high from the sweet leaf and
find it the best time to focus on One..
Just curious on others thoughts, even if they don't agree with my
thoughts~
David's post with the 420 in it made me want to write this question
here..

I didn't smoke at all until I got out of college (go figure) but I can
really say that it has helped me spiritually evolve. My own opinion is
that it is not doing anything for you that you cant do for yourself, but
it might help you along a little more quickly.

I don't want to turn this into an ad for mj or anything, or other
psychedelics, but it definitely has its benefits. It's easy to make it
a way of life, though, and anything is bad when not in moderation.

I've seen David mention somewhere that he was told to give up
intoxicants, and did so reluctantly I believe. Care to elaborate on
that, David?

Sometimes I do wonder if smoking is a roadblock of sorts, since one of
the only undesirable side effects is the lack of much dreaming if you do
it more than occasionally. One of the weird related side effects to
that is the incredibly intense vivid dreams that happen if you smoke
often, then quit for a while. It seems that it's really easy to slip
into a service-to-self type dependency on it, though.

Any other experiences out there?

Jesus said not to take the kingdom of heaven by force. Basically, what
he was saying here was to find the kingdom naturally and through
meditation instead of using mind alteing drugs to get you there. We have
a responsiblity to keep the living temple ( Human Body) healthy. In
order to ascend, we must work on the Body, mind and spirit. All 3 are
important. Everything we consume, whether it be mind altering drugs,
food or the air we breath, all has an impact on the chakra system and
endocrine system.
