my post on Jesus drawing

I guess I did not make my thinking clear.... It is not the features..
no,,, that is not it..... Jesus could look exactly like that
except... the eyes would show an inner beauty.... an inner spirit...
something would show thru.... but this drawing the man looked dead
inside... nothing spiritual.... more of a police line up photo....
and made that way deliberately.... my point... he was made NOT to
look in any way exceptional...

I have to agree to a certain extent here. I'm pretty
sure that he would look much more acceptable with at
least a smile upon his face. They did draw him with
all his facial muscles limp, like he was high or
something... so for me it wasn't the facial features
so much as the expression on his face. Like trying to
take a divine and important figure to a lot of people
and turn him into an empty looking person, maybe to
cause some doubt in the object of some people's faith,
who knows.
