Vincent and his brother Theo
were a team of sorts. Their
work wasn't known within their
lifetimes, remaining obscure,
but now famous. This painting
contains a beautiful spiral
repetition composition.
Vincent was a master colorist,
with some inherent knack of
invoking emotion. Sometimes
I cry when I hear the song and
think of his story. Yes,
history repeats; with variation
of course, like a beautiful
