can someone refresh my memory as to who Tzolkin was? I think I remember
reading about Tzolkin in CIII and/or SOTA.

Sound Tribe Sector 9 (a totally instrumental improvisational band that
lives by the mayan calendar, and tries to resonate their music with
cosmic rhythms) just played a show with the same band lineup, but
under the name "Tzolkin". Sparked my curiousity..

The Tzolkin is the sacred moon calendar of the Mayans, e.g., The
Mayan Calendar. It connects the energy of heaven with earth so that
what occurs above is reflected below.
