dear friends,
this article is somwhat similar to the message i posted entitled "god is the
machine."
wolfram believes the universe is composed not of particles and waves, but of
simple tiny programs. he believes these myriad programs, or algorithms, give
rise to physical phenomena as fundamental as space and as complicated as human
beings.

i'm in the middle of reading wolfram's (1200 page) "a new kind of science".
very worth the read...

hi david and brian,
i have examined steven wolfram's work. his thesis is what i arrived at many
years ago.
also he has very adequately documented the concept of a more intrinsic
fundamental
for waves and particles. beautiful job of getting that far.
but, like einstein, david bohm. schrodinger, planck, tom beardon and others
before him
he is yet unable to apply a mechanics that will make his concepts workable
as an applied
physics.
as long as he is trapped in the paradigm of a wave particle duality he will
be unable to
see the algorithms of pulse circuit origins between universes that are the
tiny programs
he is looking for.
